A Czech style Pilsner, using Gabrinus Organic Pilsner Malt, Weyermann Organic Carahell and Weyerman Acidulated Malts. The hop bill is a bittering addition (Zeus), aroma addition (Saaz), and whole flower Saaz in the hop back.

On Tap clear golden. thin wispy white head. standard light grain slightly corny aromas and flavors. Under hopped for a pilsener i think but mellow and smooth

Can, 10C. Very pale yellow gold with a modest white head that fades a fair bit. Aroma of lemon, grass, grain. Light bodied, quite high carbonation. Grainy sweetness is restrained and almost austere, bitterness quite high with grass, lemon and a little pepper. Doesn’t taste quite like a Czech beer, but tastes for a change like whoever made it actually likes pilsener. Good stuff.

Draught at the brewery during Zwickelmania 2013. Served by the owner, Christian. Very nice fresh grassy aroma. Clear bright yellow. Sweet, grassy initial / little hop bites in mid, with some cereal and caramel / a bit of cloying sweetness in the finish. Good legs on the final bitterness. Great mouthfeel. A very good, fresh-tasting pils. Satisfying stuff.

Can from brewolf...thanks Michael! - Pours straw yellow with a thin white head. Light doughy, spicy yeast, sweet pale grain, and a nice floral hoppiness. Taste is the same, with a very drying spiciness on the finish. A bit astringent, but clean and floral and sharp. Big carbonation, nice and fluffy.

Can from LifeSource. Light golden straw in color. Some grains up front, followed by a little bit of a malty backbone. A little bit of a grassy hop finish. A little graininess. A hit of a soapy quality, but otherwise pretty clean.

Draft pour pint at Special Brews. Clear shiny golden color with a rocky head. Near absent grain aroma. Very crisp and clean flavor. A bread grain background. Not much hop character for me. Crisp, mostly refreshing beer flavored water.

Produces up with what seems like a bad case of chill haze. A shrouded sunny medium gold with a frothy and loose white head of foam. Pineneedles and roughly bruised, bitter green herbs dominate the nose with underlying wafts of lychee, pear and lavender. On the palate it is assertively hopped but balanced by a wonderfully dry pilsner malt graininess and toastiness from that Carahell. Light in body with moderate carbonation that sees it move with haste across the tongue. Big bitter peak, raspy and herbaceous on the swallow leaving a lasting dryness of grain and hop. Long camphorous, nettle and pineneedle linger, quite spicy and raw. Very refreshing stuff. I loved this one. Drinks well even as it warms and showcases the wonderful Saaz hop with artistinal brilliance. A solid Pilsner! (47,3cL can, date indistinguishable on base, Cellarbrations Carlisle)
