Bomber. Great nose of piney, grassy, bitter hops. A little caramel malt in there, too. Flavor does not back up the big nose, unfortunately. Muted notes of grass, citrus. Was expecting alot more from this beer, esp after reading all the hype. Not bad, though.

Draught at Watering Hole. Bitter grapefruit, notes of pine, caramel malt, long bitter finish. OK stuff but have yet to be impressed by this brewery.

A lacy white head, with an opaque orange yellow body. Bitter hoppy aroma. Body is sweet with a hoppy finish. Hints of pine throughout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from the tap. Orangey yellow with dissipating off white head. Mild sweet biscuit malt with a slightly resinous light citrus hop profile.

(Can) Pretty intense citrus / slightly tropical hop flavor. I guess it’d be good if you liked that in an IPA, but I don’t enjoy it too much.

A pale orange with a white head. Grapefruit and citrus aroma with candied tropical notes. Medium body. The flavor doesn’t really match the aroma. Much more harsh citrus hop notes but a fairly strong biscuit malt undertone. The major player here is still the hops, but the malt (not sweet caramel malt, mind you) is noticeable. Finishes with a bit of harsh biting citrus hop. Pretty good overall, but sort of a one trick pony.

22 oz bottle. From the HUB, Portland, OR.
Clear golden colour with a small white head. Fruity, grapefruity and citrusy hops, mild bitterness and dryness in the aroma. The aroma points to some thinness but the flavour proves it wrong. The flavour is grapefruit, fruits and resin, moderate bitterness, sweetness and mild maltiness. Balanced.

Pours a copper colour with a small frothy head. Aromas of resiny and citrusy hops. Nice hoppy flavour, slightly spicy with caramel malt and a decent bitter finish. Medium body.
