Our flagship IPA is a classic Northwest IPA that is generously hopped with Amarillo, Centennial, and Ahtanum hops in the kettle, hop-back, and dry-hop. This judicious use of hops is balanced by hte finest organic malts available, namely Canadian organic Pilsner malt and German organic Munich and Caramunich. 15 degrees Plato Original Gravity 2.7 degrees Plato Terminal Gravity 6.6% Alcohol by Volume 75 International Bitterness Units

Large can. Pours a clear copper color with a large white head. A sweet fruity nose with some oranges. The flavor is very nice: rich resin, oranges, some bitterness, lemon peel, pepper.

GABF 2009, Copper/golden orange pour, leafy hoparoma. Big Pacific NW hop flavor. Great balance. One of the better IPA’s I sampled in Denver & that includes judging the Aplha King @ Falling Rock

"this one well received as well, though i’ve seen wild fluctuation in the quality of organic brews. This one just didn’t do it for me. Nothing stands out, one of the most boring of the night, and a sub par ipa. 2014 - another HUB beer that sucked in a can but was nice at the pub (cask). 2.6-3.5."

22 oz. bottle from kenb. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a medium sized white head. The aroma had quite a bit of orange and grapefruit, crisp resiny hops and mild caramel malts. The flavor is a nice blend of caramel dipped biscuity malts and the nice grapefruit citrus hops. Other flavors include resiny hops with a hint of herbal spiciness. Medium bodied with a dry bitterness to the finish. This is an enjoyable IPA especially since it is organic which I usually have more issues with.

22. Pours a hazy medium bronze with a fluffy white head that leaves light strings of lace as it comes down. Gorgeous sweet fresh pine nose, really a clean and natural scent to it. Creamy medium body with woolly carb. Nutty, biscuity mid-palate with pine overtones and then a big full-on resin wash at the end. Lingering bitter finish. Tasty IPA.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver, Oct. 6. Pours a hazy golden-orange with a small frothy semi-lasting off-white head. Aroma of resiny and citrusy hops. Nice hoppy flavour, slightly spicy and with caramel malt and a decent bitter finish. medium bodied. A very good IPA.

Draught @ Paddy’s in Portland:   Amber, a little pale, thin white head, spotty lacing.   Hoppy nose, pale citrus, very minor earthiness.   Hoppy earthiness on the tongue, very slight citrus aspect.   Seems like a cross between a Pale Ale and IPA.   Clean, minor citrus zest and soil on the finish.   Not a big IPA, flavorful, but you hop heads probably won’t think it hoppy enough.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes with a little more bitterness.   Decent IPA.   Pretty much just straight forward.   Don’t know if its organic, but comes across that way a bit.
