Bomber bottle. Pours a clear reddish pale amber, with a thin white head, slight breenish tinge. Mild aroma of spruce, but not much head to push it. Tastes is a heavy bitterness with some citrus tones, with a medium slightly sweet malt body underneath. Full body, creamy texture, would be helped with livelier carbonation. Finishes with a grassy bitterness. Pretty good...

On draught at Hopworks. Deep golden color. Aroma is sweet tropical citrus, such as guava and passionfruit, with some caramel. Taste is guava, pine, grapefruit, orange, and some caramel malting. Well-balanced with lingering tropical fruit notes.

A - Pours deep reddish orange hue with an ample off white head. S - lots of citrus. Grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest. T - Starts in with orange and a light bready note and moves into a rather intense grapefruit bitterness. M - medium bodied with ample carbonation. D - this is a nice hophead ipa. Highly recommended.

Pale orange amber with a small sandy head. Faint hoppy citrusy aroma and flavor. Weak and watery but not "off" not very interesting

Can: clear gold color with small white head with sticky lacing. Aroma of pickles, juniper berries, and pine needles. Classic IPA taste with a little fart in the aftertaste. Tasty!

Draft at HUD in Portland. Excellent. Hoppy nose...pine / floral...with crisp taste and after taste. Medium mouthfeel...sure wish we had this in Chi-town!

Had on draft at the brewery. Big citrusy hops, pine, the malts are bready. There is a slight grassy character, but other then that it is a solid IPA.

Pale straw gold. Mild citrus and grass hop flavor. Med to low bitterness for a west coast ipa. Organic ingredients may be a factor. Would reach for and recommend other ipa’s first.

900 yen bottle.6.6% beautiful orange pour. A nice floral/herbal hop aroma wafts from the glass-nice! I get citrus, pine, grapefruit balanced with a good dose of caramel from the malts. It really hits the spot! The finish is dry with a lingering bitterness. A really good beer.
