3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 mcberko (4056) - Vancouver, British Columbia, - OCT 6, 2012On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma of biscuity and crackery malts, and dry earthy floral hops. Flavour is very earthy and dry, with wet leaves, mild dry earthy hops, and some biscuity and crackery malts. Mild and restrained. Nothing overly stimulating, but no surprise given the Cascade hops. Still, decent stuff.

3.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 dfearnley (324) - Alberta, CANADA - JAN 2, 2013
650mL bottle to flute
Sweet straw, hay, pine and floweryness. Light clear amber with a lot of effervescence and a bubbly white head. Taste is nice, but very light for an IPA, maybe I waited too long. This has cascade all over it, very aromatic but no slam you in the face hoppiness.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 fiulijn (12179) - Malmö, DENMARK - JAN 1, 2013
2012-12-28, draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver, 6% ABV, 6-4-7-4-14=35 Hazy golden color with creamy head. Mild aroma of malt and hops. It has some toffee flavor, the mouthfeel is quite dry, there are some biscuity traces and a moderate but pleasant hopping. Later, some resins tickle the tongue. A good beer, but, as for the bottle, with a fresh dryhop more is expected.
2012-12-27, bottle from Brewery Creek, Vancouver, 6% ABV, 6-4-7-4-14=35 Double Dryhop Golden color, the head is rather frothy, medium sized. The aroma is mild, there is some manure, light caramel and toffee. Toffee flavor, the mouthfeel is correctly dry; strong bitterness, not exaggerated, with soft resins and very mild fruity character. A good beer, but the freshness of the hopping is not so highlighted.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 RumRunner101 (386) - British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 31, 2012
Amber orange pour with white head. Aroma is really weedy with hints of citrus and sweet notes. Medium bodied, oily mouth feel. Flavour is grass, grapefruit and other fruits. Quite bitter, but nicely balanced with oily hops and a long bitter finish. Interesting to taste the cascade hop isolated.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 YABSSOR (3) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 12, 2012 does not count
650mL brown bottle at The Next Act Pub in Edmonton, AB, Canada. Aside from a thin and over carbonated body, a great pine and citrus punch gives this beer a good rating from me and manages to balance malt and bitterness enough for it to even be sessionable.

Pours a light copper with thin cap of cream foam. Aroma is citrus hops, some pine. Taste is very fresh with grapefruit dominating followed by a nicely balanced malt back. Finish is lingering bitterness. Really solid and gets the very best out of the cascade hops within.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 pintbypint (1978) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 17, 2012
650ml brown bottle. 6% abv on the bottle. Dark yellow in colour with a fine haze. Large white head with fine bubbles and very clingy lacing. Nose has sweet orangey hops. Pretty clean malt up front, mild caramel note, mid way some orangey hops. Grapefruity finish that lingers. Mild bitterness. Medium bodied, nice fine carbonation. Pretty nice IPA.

Looks good. Smells good. Tastes good. 4/5. Very hazy orange amber with good froth. Nose is relatively quiet but delicious straight forward juicy orange and grapefruit. Can hardly wait for cans.
