Bomber. Citrus, pine and caramel. Light bitterness throughout. Crisp. Well balanced. A good light IPA or a great hoppy pale ale. Tasty.

Iím liking these single hop IPAs. Smells and tastes like the hop, slight dry malt body, but excelss with a floral and citrus hop profile, a good use of the Centennial.

Pours cloudy copper. White head that recedes quickly. Aroma not as hoppy as I wanted/expected. Citrus and pine but more malts. Flavor is well balanced citrus and floral hops with caramel malt. Bitterness is manageable. Alcohol content in check. Solid beer. Somewhere between a pale ale and IPA.

Had on draft at the brewery. The aroma is hop forward, fruity, citrus, some floral notes. The malts are grainy, bready. I enjoy single hop beers, fun to try.

Now I have to get my hands on the Amarillo, Meridian, Falconerís Flight versions too! Love the label. Great use of art to give a little bit of hop knowledge to the drinker. The Centennial pours a dark orange. Aroma isnít huge to me. Get some spice notes. The taste has a solid level of bitterness and it is more spices and herbs. Nice and bubbly. Tastes a bit stronger than 6%.

Bottle. Lightly hazed pale amber with a small off-white head. Strangely vegetal hop aroma and maybe some DMS / corn / cabbage going on, but Iím not too sure. Some pine resin and tropical fruit and urinal cake and citrus and whatnot in the aroma and flavor, but really it comes together as a smell that I can only place in the produce section of Asian supermarkets, a sort of raw plant aroma (leeks, turnip, kale and bok choy) with some aromatic carry-over from the live fish tanks around the corner. Medium body, medium sweetness, moderately strong bitterness, decently smooth malt. The supermarket notes arenít too strong and overall this feels like it will go over well with the IPA crowd but not only doesnít it stand out among the other 200 IPAs in Portland, it doesnít even do Centennial hops justice.

Bottle:   Orange hued straw, faint haze, small to moderate frothy white head, little lacing.   Faint citrus peel and pith, soft sweetness on the nose.   Muted hops on the tongue, old and faded citrus notes.   This is a very mild example, like a Pale ale, and even then its not as bright as most Pale Ales.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Stale hop finish, muted citrus bits, mild bitterness.   Too soft overall, pedestrian.
