COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our White IPA uses Hard Red Spring Wheat grown on our San Juan Island farm exclusively for Hopworks. This specialty grain imparts a rich, biscuity malt character and signature wheat beer haze. Northwest hops add layers of fruity, floral flavor and crisp bitterness. A truly refreshing twist on a tried and true favorite.

650ml bottle (drinking from). Aroma is delightfully hazy wheat and malts with some lovely hop notes. This is a really great white IPA. Loving the wheat and very prominent tropical fruit and hop notes.

650ml brown bottle. An unclear gold appearance. Small white head, quite a lot of lacing. Aromas of orange peels, lesser lemony tones. Taste has dry wheat malt, crackery, light citrus hops. Orange peel bitterness, dryness at the end. Light in the mouth, refreshing, pretty simple.

Can picked up at Bier Thirty. So let’s be honest here… I ended up drinking this straight from the can and I don’t regret it. Sometimes that’s what the situation calls for, no? Things being what they were, it had a musty and floral nose with a very light yeast presence. Good florals in the taste, a little musty and a little grainy. Minimal Belgian yeast coming through and it works. It did the trick. And the can looked cool too.

Decent drinking IPa, from Zyn. Nice light orange hoppiness, with some significant wheat behind it.

Draft - Bright citrus and some cat pee. Cloudy yellow gold with a decent white head. Lemon rind and cat pee with a nice clean bitter finish.

Bomber. Quite cloudy straw yellow with thin lacey white head. Slightly sweet floral citrus aroma. Initial taste is floral hopiness quickly transitioning to grainy sweet mellow malt. I prefer it to a straight up wheat beer.

White head with cloudy yellow color body. Nose is slightly hoppy. Flavor is hoppy with malty finish.

Bottle, shared with Grippitis. Hazy orange-tinted gold, lemony and grassy hop profile, more bitterness than aromatics, somehow missing brightness.

Poured from tallboy to glass. Straw hue with creamy white head that lingered. Aroma is lime, kiwi, pine, tangerine, pineapple, grassy. Mouthfeel is great with a medium body and sharp carbonation. Taste is dry sweetness with a nice hop bitterness that extended through the finish. Overall this is a decent brew.

Bottle. Dirty yellow with fair head and light lace. Aroma is hoppy lemon citrus and dirty edge. Flavour is a bit sad. Dusty and muted for style. Old yeast and tired hops. Doesn’t have the snap and zing expected.
