COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our White IPA uses Hard Red Spring Wheat grown on our San Juan Island farm exclusively for Hopworks. This specialty grain imparts a rich, biscuity malt character and signature wheat beer haze. Northwest hops add layers of fruity, floral flavor and crisp bitterness. A truly refreshing twist on a tried and true favorite.

650ml bottle (drinking from). Aroma is delightfully hazy wheat and malts with some lovely hop notes. This is a really great white IPA. Loving the wheat and very prominent tropical fruit and hop notes.

@ Rogue Waterfront. Hazy light tan with a bubbly head. Nice grapefruit hop nose has orangey, light coriander notes. Big, rich bitterness, sweet pale malts are a bit biscuity, and there’s nice fruitiness. Quite orangey. There’s some diacetyl late...kind of buried under the hops. I’ve been getting that from HUB, which is disappointing. Thankfully this was served quite cold, which will mask it further.

(Can, 0.473 l, at Stadin Panimobaari, 20160706) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, herbalness and grain. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, spiciness, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A nice spicy brew.

Aroma:
Slight/medium aroma of malts, wheat, banana, pine, hops and citrus.

Appearance:
Turbid/opaque yellow/golden beer with slight yeast and with a slight/medium white/off-white head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts slightly/medium sweet with malts, wheat, banana and pine; ends slightly bitter with hops and citrus.

Overall:
This beer is balanced, but rather different. The wheat and the soft hops make it kinda dull however.

Is clove, lemongrass, passion fruit, grapefruit, and citrus. Taste is sweet with light bitterness and a subtle finish. The wheat balances out the hop profile nicely. Appearance is a hazy gold with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well.
