Our White IPA uses Hard Red Spring Wheat grown on our San Juan Island farm exclusively for Hopworks. This specialty grain imparts a rich, biscuity malt character and signature wheat beer haze. Northwest hops add layers of fruity, floral flavor and crisp bitterness. A truly refreshing twist on a tried and true favorite.

Pounder can picked up this afternoon at the COOP... Pours a clear light orange with a nice white head.. decent lacing. The nose is pretty proper... nice citrus elements and phenolic hoppiness... Flavor mirrors the nose.. something that I pick up as bubblegum phenols... but the IPA notes are nice and still lite coriander elements show...very dry on the finish. Great canned brew... I would LOVE to have this out camping in the Sawtooths

A beer I have skipped over many times over the years. Finally trying it tonight. Named after a 15 year standoff between the Americans and the Brits over the San Juan Islands in Washington state. Only a pig died.

Can from Plaid Pantry. Hazy light straw in color. Some sediment floating about. Mildly hopped nose. A little spicy and a bit of citrus as well. Well hopped with some grapefruit qualities up front. A touch of sweetness, followed by some more bitterness. Pretty good. Crisp, refreshing, and flavorful.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy blonde with a medium white head. Aroma brings out a nice mix of Belgian yeast and piney hops. Flavour is really well-balanced, with an excellent mix of Belgian yeast and piney hops, and a dry crackery malt backing. Dry and smooth, with high drinkability. Really nice stuff.

650ml brown bottle. An unclear gold appearance. Small white head, quite a lot of lacing. Aromas of orange peels, lesser lemony tones. Taste has dry wheat malt, crackery, light citrus hops. Orange peel bitterness, dryness at the end. Light in the mouth, refreshing, pretty simple.

Can picked up at Bier Thirty. So let’s be honest here… I ended up drinking this straight from the can and I don’t regret it. Sometimes that’s what the situation calls for, no? Things being what they were, it had a musty and floral nose with a very light yeast presence. Good florals in the taste, a little musty and a little grainy. Minimal Belgian yeast coming through and it works. It did the trick. And the can looked cool too.

Decent drinking IPa, from Zyn. Nice light orange hoppiness, with some significant wheat behind it.
