COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our White IPA uses Hard Red Spring Wheat grown on our San Juan Island farm exclusively for Hopworks. This specialty grain imparts a rich, biscuity malt character and signature wheat beer haze. Northwest hops add layers of fruity, floral flavor and crisp bitterness. A truly refreshing twist on a tried and true favorite.

Pounder can picked up this afternoon at the COOP... Pours a clear light orange with a nice white head.. decent lacing. The nose is pretty proper... nice citrus elements and phenolic hoppiness... Flavor mirrors the nose.. something that I pick up as bubblegum phenols... but the IPA notes are nice and still lite coriander elements show...very dry on the finish. Great canned brew... I would LOVE to have this out camping in the Sawtooths

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy dark golden color with a moderate white head on there. Nose is quite hoppy, with some great citrus elements coming through, but just a touch of some clove. Taste is moderately bitter and easy to drink, though not quite as crisp as the description implies. Decent, though.

Draught @ Alibi Room, Vancouver. Hazy straw yellow, bright white head. Smells a bit soapy, flavour is toasted white bread with weed spread. Wheat and hops, weird combo. Kinda works, but still getting used to it...

16 oz can pours a hazy light straw/yellow with a fine creamy white head that leaves lots of heavy lacing. Pale almost pilsenerish malt soapy aroma, Light bitter hoppy flavors. Actually pretty decent hoppiness for the white variety. Smooth creamy feel.

Can. I feel like itís only proper to put Sabbath on in the background. A: Cloudy pale straw body (not quite white) with a very white head. Some lacing. N: Pine, pineapple, orange, earth, and leaves. Light peppercorn(ing), and crackers - mostly saltines. Not as fruity as the can claims. T: Crisp bitterness, very little sweetness to be found. M: Very dry and resinous. Medium-light body. Touch of alcohol burn. O: Not an overly complex beer, in fact, itís closer to an APA, in my opinion. While thereís nothing particularly wrong with it, as far as I can tell, itís not an attention-grabber, either. Off the top of my head, Iíd recommend Chainbreaker over this.

A decent White IPA from the HUB. Hints of grain flakes and nods to spice, but nothing is too loud, and Iíve grown quite fond of the spicier WIPAís. Tasty, could be better.

On tap at the brewpub - Pours golden orange with an off-white head. The aroma has light wit spicing, spicy hops, mild wheat and a cream aspect. It has a medium clean body with modest carbonation - this has a sharper body that most beers Iíve had here. The flavor begins with spicy hops, citrus zest and mild wheat malt. The finish is very zest (from zest or hops, Iím not sure). Nicer than most in the white IPA style.

Hoppy, fruity, White IPA that is a bit thin in the mouth, but very quaffable and a good summer beer. Nothing to get too excited about, but hard to imagine many people not liking this.

This poured a hazy light yellow with a white head. Aroma of fruity hops, orange Peel, spice and yeast. Flavor was on the wheaty side, not huge bitterness but decent grapefruit.character.

On tap at the BikeBar. Murky yellow pour with a white head. Hop profile is similar to the IPA with mineral notes. Mild stone fruit aromas. Good body and mouthfeel.

Draught @ Hopworks, Portland, OR

Very wheaty for a white IPA, not very hoppy and quite yeasty. Feels a bit unbalanced.
