COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our White IPA uses Hard Red Spring Wheat grown on our San Juan Island farm exclusively for Hopworks. This specialty grain imparts a rich, biscuity malt character and signature wheat beer haze. Northwest hops add layers of fruity, floral flavor and crisp bitterness. A truly refreshing twist on a tried and true favorite.

Pounder can picked up this afternoon at the COOP... Pours a clear light orange with a nice white head.. decent lacing. The nose is pretty proper... nice citrus elements and phenolic hoppiness... Flavor mirrors the nose.. something that I pick up as bubblegum phenols... but the IPA notes are nice and still lite coriander elements show...very dry on the finish. Great canned brew... I would LOVE to have this out camping in the Sawtooths

Poured from tallboy to glass. Straw hue with creamy white head that lingered. Aroma is lime, kiwi, pine, tangerine, pineapple, grassy. Mouthfeel is great with a medium body and sharp carbonation. Taste is dry sweetness with a nice hop bitterness that extended through the finish. Overall this is a decent brew.

650ml bottle (drinking from). Aroma is delightfully hazy wheat and malts with some lovely hop notes. This is a really great white IPA. Loving the wheat and very prominent tropical fruit and hop notes.

Bottle. Dirty yellow with fair head and light lace. Aroma is hoppy lemon citrus and dirty edge. Flavour is a bit sad. Dusty and muted for style. Old yeast and tired hops. Doesn’t have the snap and zing expected.

Tap at Hopworks BikeBar. Sweet, fruity nose, grapefruit rind, and some sourness behind. Hazy pale straw color, good lace. Light pale maltiness, some caramel, wheaty, good bittering. Thin-medium body. Hopping is not apparent. Okay.

650ml bottle pours a hazy light straw color with a finger and a half of white head that settles to reveal some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrus fruits with some hints of pine and cereal grains. Taste is a pine and citrus hop bitterness with an underlying grainy malt sweetness that finishes nice and clean on the palate. Medium bodied with good carbonation. A quality IPA that is definitely worth trying.

Big citrus and grapefruit rind on the front and back end. Medium bodied, effervescent. Well made. Deserves better than the overall rating gives it.

I like "softness" of the white IPAs, smoothing out the rough edges of some of the NW hops. Pours pale golden, slightly hazy, small white soapy head, minimal lacing. Aroma is yellow grapefruit, taste is more so, short finish, lingering bitterness, but not flavor. Smooth and easy to drink. Delicious.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy dark golden color with a moderate white head on there. Nose is quite hoppy, with some great citrus elements coming through, but just a touch of some clove. Taste is moderately bitter and easy to drink, though not quite as crisp as the description implies. Decent, though.

Draught @ Alibi Room, Vancouver. Hazy straw yellow, bright white head. Smells a bit soapy, flavour is toasted white bread with weed spread. Wheat and hops, weird combo. Kinda works, but still getting used to it...

16 oz can pours a hazy light straw/yellow with a fine creamy white head that leaves lots of heavy lacing. Pale almost pilsenerish malt soapy aroma, Light bitter hoppy flavors. Actually pretty decent hoppiness for the white variety. Smooth creamy feel.
