Draft at the brewpub a few years back. Decent red. They seem to do reds really well...actually come to think of it...

High dose of hops, with a burnt bitter malt flavor. Bitterness was definitely malt-derived and a little overbearing. The hops and malt flavors seem to be in balance but arenít coming together well for me.

Tap. Red. Sweet caramel malt aroma, light citrus. Malty, malty, some citrus going on. Not enough bitter to balance the sweet for me.

Draught at Porque No in Portland. The tacos were amazing. But this red complimented the meal. Hoppy red with full body and a really nice taste.

Draft at Hood River Hops Fest 2007. A hazy amber beer with a thick orangey head. The aroma is sweet with notes of grass and grapefruits. The flavor is sweet with very strong notes of grass and hops.

Draught. Poured deep copper red with tan head. much lacing. Hoppy aroma. Medium body with malt, hops and flowers. lingering bitterish finish. This didnít taste as hoppy as most IPAs but definitely stars as a red ale.

Tap at Green Dragon. Nice hop aroma and character. Pours with a nice tight white head with some lacing. A bit hazy, must be unfiltered. Some light roasty notes in the middle of the beer with a semi-sweet finish. A pleasant beer that Iíll sample again.
