Classic Amature miss categorizing on rate beer this is definitely a red. Pours a clear red color with an off white head and tons of lace. Aroma of citrus hops, sweet malts, slight caramel and some fruity esthers. Taste is caramel malts, citrus hops, grass and a nice smooth bitterness throughout. Excellent red with lots of hops and a solid malt backbone. Very sessionable.

This is billed as being "hopped to the rafters" and that is what I disliked about it. I am too much of a Red traditionalist.

A mellow, dusty hop nose. Piney notes amongst the caramel and nutty malt flavours. Quite a bitter finish. A thick and mellow carbonation too. Session-city.
