4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20 kereltis (32) - Oregon, USA - AUG 22, 2012
Beautiful sweet aroma that hits the right spot. The flavor is nice and crisp with a slight dry after taste almost like the after taste of grapefruit. A very pleasant experience and one well worth trying. Goes great with wheat crackers and Cheddar cheese.

Comes out of the tap a dark coppery golden with a thick, yellow-beige head. Rich, malty aroma has a spicy undertone. Mouth-filling malty flavor has tones of cloves and fruit as well as hints of caramel and hops. Smooth, fizzy texture leaves behind a fruity finish.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 Bookseeb (52) - Wenatchee, Washington, USA - FEB 12, 2013
Appearance has an amber red color supporting a dissipating cream head and spotty lace. Smell has a sweet citric malt aroma with light floral hop. Taste again with the sweet malt married with a nice balance of hops. Mouthfeel having a medium viscous feel with good carbonation. Overall a very nice NW red.

A real nice blend of caramel, flowers and grass. This is a wonderful beer.

Bottle. "Tall Cans in the Air, let me see ’em ... fuck you!". Must be a hoppy red for that to pop into mind while I was sipping this. Looks red with a good head and nice lace. Was going to say "How much hops can you add before you have an IPA not a red?" But it is classified as an AIPA already. Nice malty backbone and hops in the nose. Big malt profiel and a fishy woody hop flavour that makes me think PUNK.

On tap at The Alibi Room in Gastown. Little head, but a beautiful reddish amber color. Nose is citrus. The flavor? A big load of citrus hops up front, with a bit of malt detected on the finish. Except for the color, this is very reminiscent of the newer, highly hopped IPAs. This is a winner, folks!

On tap at Tim’s House and then again at Tim’s House, then Tim’s house again and then, yes, Tim got this beer one last time. I’m not a huge Red fan, but this beer is the best example of the style I’ve found... Killians need not apply.

A: Deep amber body. Slightly cloudy. Large fluffy off-white head. Good retention and tons of lacing.
S: Grapefruit, resinous pine, and sweet caramel malts.
T: Very much like the nose. Highly hopped up with grapefruit, orange, and pine. Plenty of malt shines through giving a nice balance from the caramel and lightly bready backbone.
M: Smooth, medium bodied. Resinous finish with moderate bitterness.
O: A very nice hoppy red. Its not Nugget Nectar, but you shouldn’t hold that against it.
