3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 tiggmtl (4475) - Vancouver, - MAY 24, 2011
Orange and grapefruit citrus hops over thick malts in the nose. Clear burnished copper coloured body is topped by a low off white head that recedes to a thin partial cover with some small lacing. Flavour follows aroma with some graininess. Medium body and carbonation to match. Sampled on tap at Alibi Room.

I’m kind of in a hurry, so let me quickly say this is a slightly hoppy APA. Nothing great, but not that bad either.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20 Sask89 (278) - Regina, Saskatchewan, CANADA - MAY 21, 2012
Pours a lighter amber colour, slightly hazy with a creamy tan head. Aroma is of caramel malt and light hop scents. Taste is a nice balance between mild sweetness and bitterness, which becomes slightly more bitter in the finish. Creamy on the palate, light-medium body and softer carbonation. A very enjoyable amber ale.

Hey! This is tasty! Pours a light brown/amber. Nice retention of an off-white cap. Muted malty hop nose. Great hop taste, with straw and citrus.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 RumRunner101 (111) - British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 3, 2012
Pours hazy red-brown, no head. Aroma is pleasant - hops and sweet citrus fruits. Body is relatively light, crisp and clean. Palate is grapefruit that fades into a slight sweetness and the finish is slightly hoppy. Overall quite delicious and enjoyable, very sessionable, but could have packed a bit more of a punch.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 BeefPocoroba (33) - Oregon, USA - DEC 10, 2011
On tap at Tim’s House and then again at Tim’s House, then Tim’s house again and then, yes, Tim got this beer one last time. I’m not a huge Red fan, but this beer is the best example of the style I’ve found... Killians need not apply.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 5000 (4108) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - NOV 23, 2011
Bottle:   Reddish amber in color, translucent, large frothy white head, very sticky lacing.
Pale musty slightly earthy malt aroma.   A bit mustier and dank like maltiness on the tongue.   Seems a
little thing, not much body.   Hops are soft.   This is a malt based beer, but its not that malty
either... Hmmm...   Flavor from start to finish, but body and mouthfeel lack depth.   Not watery, just,
well... bordering.   Finishes with a touch of pale fruit skin, otherwise pale earthy/grainy/barnish
maltiness.   Clean beer, just not big enough.

Single bottle purchased from Co-op Wine & Spirits in Calgary, AB on 11/17/2011. Colour: A dark orange and brown mix with sizeable and sturdy off-white head. Nose: Hops dipped in caramel, sesame seed, slight rubbery note, brown sugar. Taste: Light sweet, medium-high bitter, light sour. Lot’s of flowery taste. Some noticable roasted malt. A huge bitter charge right on the finish that sits strong for a long time. Quite palateble.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 callmemickey (795) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 29, 2011
A: Deep amber body. Slightly cloudy. Large fluffy off-white head. Good retention and tons of lacing.
S: Grapefruit, resinous pine, and sweet caramel malts.
T: Very much like the nose. Highly hopped up with grapefruit, orange, and pine. Plenty of malt shines through giving a nice balance from the caramel and lightly bready backbone.
M: Smooth, medium bodied. Resinous finish with moderate bitterness.
O: A very nice hoppy red. Its not Nugget Nectar, but you shouldn’t hold that against it.
