Bottle, 10C. Dark red brown with a beige head that fades. Floral grapefruit and lemon aroma with some coffee and licorice. Very light-bodied, has that lack of presence/ weediness that sometimes turns up in organic beers. A little mocha, licorice, plenty of citrus flavours, pine. Finish is dry and fairly bitter.

1 oz sample at Beer Revolution, courtesy of @bresnev. Pours a sinful black, with a bubbly tan head. Aroma is a violent clash between toasted malt, and citrus, grainy hops. Taste is extremely hoppy, tempered with a pleasant coffee, chocolate, burnt sugar sweetness that disguises the higher abv quite well. Whatever this is seceding from, itís succeding..

Smells of hops and peat. Pours dark red/brown with a light head. Tastes very different than the smell, almost took me aback. Bitter coffee, mild hops, very pleasant aftertaste. The smell and the taste go along well together. It doesnít stand out in any real way but is just an all together well rounded beer that is not too dense but with a full flavor and scent that I think Iíll keep around for friends to enjoy.
