Black color, with medium sized beige head. Very nice aroma of coffee, some roasted malt, light dust and hops. Good body structure, dark chocolate and coffee flavor, quite dry mouthfeel, with a strong bitterness; it ends with loads of roasted malts, and hidden hop resins, but never ashy. Very good.

Dark and chewy, with a nice mocha meets grapefruit thing going on on the nose and the palate. Super solid black ipa from a brewer I expected less from.

Pours dark brown with tan foam. Smells very bitter with grassy notes. Tastes bitter with plant matter overtones and hint of roasted barley.

Bomber served in a tulip. Beautiful dense cola pour topped by a large frothy light brown head. Great retention and lacing. Piney and floral hop aroma along with some chocolate malt. Roasty bitter sweet flavor. Medium body, good carbonation, creamy mouthfeel and a charred, bitter finish with sticky resin that lasts.

Thanks to thirdeye11 for sharing this beer. The beer pours a dark brownish-red color with a white head. The aroma is strong resiny hops with some roasted malt. The flavor is resiny hops with just the lightest amount of roasted malt. Still, this beer is all about the hops. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

22 oz. bomber courtesy of a trade with DA. Pours very dark brown, just about black, with a moderate tan head that lasted until mid-glass and left partial lace. Very pleasant aroma of fruity grapefruit along with some very mild malt. The flavor is most definitely tilted towards the hops with strong pine and grapefruit bitterness. Given the darkness of the beer, I thought there would be more of a roasted malt backbone, but the malt is very subdued. Moderate-strong bitterness at the finish. Medium bodied. One for the hopheads.

22 oz. bottle, pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, citrus & herbal hops and a sort of stale funk. Flavour of a balance of roasted malt and herbal / citrus hops. Quite nice.

Bomber thanks to Mike. Pours a dark brown color with a medium beige head and lots of lacing. A fruity pine hop nose, quite rich. The flavor is a light roast, caramel, rich cascade and some syrupy amarillo, light bitterness. Tasty but missing a real heft. This is dominated by PNW hops, perhaps a heavier roast would be nice. Still, quite nice.
