On tap. A: Opaque black with a lilting creme head. Nice lacing. N: Coffee, cocoa, vanilla, dirt, ample hop earthiness. Some char. T: Very similar to coffee. Mostly bitter with some malty edges. Enjoyable. M: Medium body, coating. O: Good, wholesome stout. Drinks like a larger beer at a low ABV.

Pours black with a dark tan head. Nose shows lots of coffee and roasted grains. Little else showing. Similar flavours, lots of roasted grains with a little coffee behind it. Again it seems to fall flat rather quick. Nice creamy carbonation. Body could be a bit thicker.

On draught at Hopworks Urban Brewery. Black in color with tan head. Aroma of cold brewed coffee. Taste is of a cold brewed Stumptown coffee, with espresso and grain notes. Mouthfeel is full, and the finish is sweet and filled with espresso.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a pure black color with a tan head. A big nose: fruity, nutty and huge coffee. The flavor is mostly toasted malt and big sweet coffee, light milk, some hazelnut. Good brew. Surprised it is so low in alcohol.
