Poured out of a 22oz bottle into a tulip glass. A dark brown, opaque pour with a light tan inch of head. Smells like coffee, caramel, burnt malt and molasses. Wow. Amazing. Tastes of burnt malt, coffee and slightly sweet malt at the end. Very good. Light to medium body. Almost non-existent carbonation. Easily a daily drinker. Excellent flavor and too drinkable. The smell is really the star here. Incredible.

Canned (5.8%) from LifeSource. Black in color. Roasty dry nose. Some milk sugar and hop bitterness as well. Coffee and a little sweetness up front. It then goes into a dry bitter roasty flavor. Bitter roasty in the finish. Mild on the hop bitterness. Pretty tasty coffee stout.

Unique and tasty. Clean coffee and light hops in the aroma. Flavors of fresh roasted coffee, toasted grains, caramel and hints of milk. There’s no mistaking this is a coffee beer. A bit thinner than expected, but really smooth with a clean finish.

Bomber. Nose of chocolate, cream, cocoa, a bit of Sprite. Black with lace. Sweet chocolate and cafe au lait flavors, light tang, good balance. Likeable.

Bottle (Vintage Cellars Elsternwick). Black with a light tan head. Aroma of caramel, coffee, roasted barley. Smooth texture, moderate carbonation - still a bit astringent though. Lots of (OK but not interesting) coffee, moderate roasted flavours, husks, some dark chocolate. Clean moderately bitter finish. I don’t really understand why you’d make a big thing of a complicated exotic mixture of grains... and then wallop it with coffee, but a nice and very drinkable drop.
