Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of dusty hops, vinegar, brettanomyces, and fruits as well as lighter notes of grapefruit and horseblanket. The flavor is acidic with notes of brettanomyces, malt, grapefruit, and horseblanket, leading to a tart finish.

Papsoe (25129) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 5, 2009
Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of KimJohansen. Bottle # 08210. Pours a hazy amber golden with an off-white head leaving some lacework. Subtle tart aroma with some horse blanket touches. Medium body, astringent raw Bretty accents and vinegar, plenty of horse blanket. Rather sulphurous. Very Belgian in it’s sourness, but perhaps still a little young and raw. 010509

Bottled@Fonefan. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is distinctive 3 fonteinen and also some timmermans gueuze. As it warms up also the Cantillon sourness comes. Flavour is very wooden, sour fruity and apricotty. Once you get closer to the end of the bottle it gets more harsh grassy, sour wooden and dry. A very complex gueuze, which will probably mellow out through the years. But also very nice already now.

UPDATED: DEC 11, 2010 Bottle, 7%. Very nice earthy, citric aroma, smells like 3 Fonteinen. Hazy dark golden colour. Sparkling, leaving a small bubbly white head. High carbonation. The flavour is sweeter than expected, still nicely earthy. Good citric flavour, very well-rounded. Mild and pleasant. The carbonation is too high for me, the flavour gains a lot after the beer has been swirled around a bit. 8 3 9 3 20

Dedollewaitor (12378) - Odense, DENMARK - JUN 11, 2009
UPDATED: JUN 9, 2010 75cl bottle @ WSF. Bottle # 3053. Pours a cloudy orange with a large fluffy foam. Tart cellar nose. A bit of sweet almond - very vague. Dry and crisp with a fine funky, tart and woody bite. Still very young and its clear to see and feel the potential it has to develop. Hope to taste it again in a few years. Re-Rating June 2010 @ Ma Che Siete, Rome. Aged amazingly. More sour, complex and tart. From 3,8 - 4,1
