Bottle: Golden, hazy, small and stable white frothy head, malic acid, citric acid and traces of peppermint(?) in the nose, light wheaty-grainy touch, a bit cellary, too; moderate sour flavour, accompanied by a light bitterness, medium bodied, a bit fizzy(!); lingering and a bit warming citrussy-cellary finish. Yes, well balanced and moreish Gueuze…

2013 shared. Hazy gold pour, lovely fluffy white head: looks a treat. Tropical juice nose, loads of mango and pineapple, good sweet funk too, citric zing in there. Taste is juicy, both citric and tropical. Slight mustiness, but the funk shows mainly as bright and zesty. Pithy orange and lemon peel, deeper dusty notes rise near the finish. Sharp citrus end, with lingering tropical funk. Excellent stuff.
