COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hornbeer Barleywine is a golden coloured beer with high carbonation and a bit of extra hops making it fresh to drink even if it is a strong thing of 10% alcohol. Barleywine is a desert beer that should be served in small glasses, preferably wine glasses, in order to be able to enjoy the handsome colour and the carbonation bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass. We have brewed our barleywine on 5 different barley malts, wheat malt, sugar, hops, yeast and water. The beer has refermented on the bottle - therefore, it might have some yeast bottom residues.

the aroma is caramel, fruity and hoppy with some hints of resin and spices... the taste is caramel and fruity in the beginning, hoppy and spicy in the finishing... some notes of dried fruits and citrus... rough hoppy bitterness... dry and bitter aftertaste...

Copper-coloured, oily beer, with beige, rather short lasting head. Aroma of malts, hops, and toffee. Moderately sweet, with relatively long, bitter finish.

Chmiel wnosi sporo trawiastych posmaków, a gdzieś w tle mamy dużą bazę słodową z muśnięciami rodzynek. Piwo jest gładkie i musujące w smaku.

DArk red to brown colour. Reisin and dried fruit aroma with ligh citrus notes. Short malty caramel start with fast hop bitterness after. Citruses, some grass and even earth and dust. This is american barleywine for sure. Not bad but nothing special.

Keg at CPK 5th B-day celebrations, London. It pours a clean amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet and malty, with notes of caramel, candy sugar, booze, ripe melon. Taste is again quite sweet with more caramel, sugar syrup, melon, booze. Body is medium with soft carbonation. Overall, very sweet

creamy offwhite large head. excellent lacing. mostly diminishing. hazy thick amberish-brown body. aroma: almost cried with the gush of hops soon after taking the cap off; some orange hints too (totally IPA nose, not barley wine at all - WHAT A BUMMER!). if: light bitter sweet. ff: heavy bitter light sweet; long duration. palate: light medium body, watery/oily texture, lively carbonation, metallic light alcoholic finish. 59,5r 20s

To piwo wygląda cudownie, mętna miedź, z bujną idealnie oblepiającą szklankę pianą. W aromacie przeważają słody, karmel, toffi, tosty, odrobina orzechów. Smak to głównie słodowa baza, z owocowymi (figi, rodzynki, winogrona) posmakami, w tle chleb tostowy, karmel. I w głowie. Świetne piwo.

Bottle from Toft Vin, Copenhagen - dark amber coloured pour with beige head. Medium sweet malty aroma and taste, toasty, caramel, toffee, brown sugar, dried fruity and nutty, good mouthfeel, goes down a treat.

Slightly hazy, dark amber. Frothy offwhite head. Floral, caramely aroma. Similar flavour but with a clear malt profile. Alcohol is both well hidden and warming.
