On tap at 3 Små Rum. Pitch black with a short brown head. Some lacings. Roasted and a bit smoky aroma with espresso, chocolate, a pinch of dark fruit and wood. Taste is sweet and rich with lots of smoky roasted malt and a lovely intense espresso and chocolate note. Some fruit and wood also here. Medium to fullbodied, low carbonation. Tasty!

Tap at Schoukjelleren shared with Daje. Black, creamy espressh head. Smells of liquorice, coffee, roasted malts. Taste of tar, smoke, liquorice and some coffee. Malts too. Feel is very oily, almost as tar. Finish is very hoppy and bitter. Also some malt bitterness. A very good and goodlooking beer.

50cl into Rochefort glass...Dark black with a light tan head, not much retention, ok lacing...The super malty pour with sweet chocolate some coffee and smokey backbone. The smoke has an ash and light pork bite to it...The taste is dominated by the smoke but its a cigarette ashy smoke not smoke that has nice pork accents. The ash almost makes it a little difficult to drink. There is some light chocolate to start but the middle, and especially finish are chalky and ash. This is too ashy to drink, unless you are a smoker probably not for you.

Bottle: Thanks to Fonefan. Very nice vast brown foamy head with a black beer beneath the foamy covering. Smell tar, carbon dioxide, burnt malts, smoke and a hint of some dark ingredients like dark spices and earth. Taste is a full bodied mix of tar, smoke, espresso, earth, burnt wood, coal, bitter. All in all a dark black tasting beer with uber dark ingredients. Full bitter grassy coffee aftertaste. Low carbo, full body and soft, almost silky, mouthfeel.
