English: We have brewed on this beer on a long time and we finally think it is a should. A very majestic stout with a hint of roasted barley malt, smoke malt, coffee, some spices and to top it all a drop of rum. The beer has been seasoned on oak wood. This beer can stored many years in a dark closet or cellar, but is also ready to drink when it leaves our brewery. Buy an extra bottle and stash it for a special occasion in some years. It will develop like a god wine- only get better and better by the years.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a tan head and a black body. Aroma of smoke, wood, brown sugar, alcohol and rum. Taste is sweet with rum, alcohol, smoke and leather. Medium carbonation. The smoke makes it not extremely drinkable.

500mL bottle from DK. Pours black with dense tan head. Aroma of roasted coffee, some wood, with vanilla and rum notes. Taste has more roasted coffee, bitter chocolate, rum notes, syrupy sweet with bitter finish. Has a very alcoholic character.

Dark brown head on a black body. This is a ,super stout! ! Notes of coffee and come chocalate, but the result is a very strong ale that I would recommend only with very heavy fook. I won’t be drinking this beer regularly, it’s simply too stout !

Almost black with a small brown head that settles kind of fast and leaves some lacings. There’s not a whole lot of roasted malts in the smell, but still enough. Lots of vanilla and notes of chocolate and coffee. A hint of wood and a gentle note of alcohol. A pleasant smell, but it’s rather mellow and laid back. The rum character is very subtle. The taste is somewhat sweet with a gentle roasted malty backbone and lots of vanilla flavors. Notes of coffee, chocolate and dark fruits. Some oak-barrel and rum (faint). Somewhere in the background, a subtle hint of smoke is lurking around. The finish has some bitterness to it and sweet rum flavors. A slightly boozy flavor of alcohol in the end. Medium body and a creamy and smooth texture. A slightly bigger body would have been nice. A good beer. A very mellow character - the "in your face-mentality" often found in similar beers are far away in this one. Serving type: bottle (Copy of old Beer Advocate review)

500 ml bottle at Pikkulintu. Pours black with a brown head. Rum present in the aroma along with chocolate, coffee and alcohol. Taste also includes some rum as well as sugary sweetness, coffee and chocolate with hint of alcohol. Aftertaste is quite sweet. A bit too sugary to my taste, but otherwise quite ok.

At the Ølfestival, Esbjerg, Denmark 23-10-09. A dark brown pour with no head heralds the arrival of this fairly mighty stout. There is a little bit of rum and possibly oak on the nose but its not as obvious a I expected. Smooth nice woodiness, rich coffee and cappucino. Its creamy and pleasant. A6 A4 F7 P4 Ov13 3.3
