English: We have brewed on this beer on a long time and we finally think it is a should. A very majestic stout with a hint of roasted barley malt, smoke malt, coffee, some spices and to top it all a drop of rum. The beer has been seasoned on oak wood. This beer can stored many years in a dark closet or cellar, but is also ready to drink when it leaves our brewery. Buy an extra bottle and stash it for a special occasion in some years. It will develop like a god wine- only get better and better by the years.

wow! chocolate-coffee with a nice bitterness. it’s not as sweet as RIS’s can be and not as oily - but both these features are present. alcohol is completely hidden - you won’t believe it’s 10%! and the head is surprisingly good for that percentage, it’s beautiful, brown, stays for quite long and leaves a pretty lacing. chocolate, coffee, roasty, black, brown foam, frothy, light sweetness, lightly bitter, medium-to-full body, oily feel,

A delectable aroma of dark malt and raisins. Heavy flavor of coffee beans and with perhaps an equally heavy bitterness does taste quite dry. Bitterness in the aftertaste is heavy and filling out the sides of the tongue with much coffee flavor for a long time. I almost feel that it’s a little too much coffee flavor only. Big bottle. Pours black, tan head. Nose is wood, rum, vanilla. Flavour is pretty heavy malt, rum doesn’t dominate, roast is well integrated, coffee, wood, a bit of alcohol but less than I’d expected.

Gedronken vanuit een halve liter fles. Zwarte van kleur, met witte kop. Door de rumvaten licht zoetig. Geweldig op smaak

Pours a lasting, frothy beige head atop an opaque body. Very boozy and roasted in the nose and tongue, gritty front that turns into a smooth, creamy coffee finish. Very tasty. 500ml bottle purchased at Cascadia Liquor at Quadra Street.

@ Havregatan. Flaska inköpt i Helsingör. Rostade toner, viss syrlighet, kaffe, choklad, vanilj, fyllig, len, söt, oljig konsistens. Torr avslutning med rostade toner.

Pitch black colour with big and quite stable head (some lacing). Intensive aroma of roasted malts, rum, dark fruits and coffee. Taste is very sweet, full of roasted malts, dark fruits with slightly warming alcohol finish. Full body. Very oily texture and soft carbonation. Very good for tasting. Rich and interesting imperial stout, but very close to baltic porter.

500ml nottle @ home. Best before: 09-02-3023.
App: Pitch black, thick brown but slight fizzy head, some thin lacings.
Aroma: Slightly hot aroma with dark chocolate, raisins and dark fruit, rum, burnt wood, pipe tobacco. Intense, mature and a little hot but alluring.
Taste: Sweet with chocolate, licorice, molasses, rum, some dark fruit and grapefruit, big marked herby bitterness.
Palate: Big body with soft round carbonation and oily thick texture.
Overall: Really good stout with big musty flavors with good depth. Slightly warming and pretty bitter and sweet, and even if it could do with some aging it’s still pretty good after only a year.

Keg at Craft Beer Co, Islington. Pours jet black with thin tan head. Big rum aromas, boozy and brown sugar. Taste has alcohol burn, some light roast, but not much. All about the rum. Quite thin texture. Ok.
