English: We have brewed on this beer on a long time and we finally think it is a should. A very majestic stout with a hint of roasted barley malt, smoke malt, coffee, some spices and to top it all a drop of rum. The beer has been seasoned on oak wood. This beer can stored many years in a dark closet or cellar, but is also ready to drink when it leaves our brewery. Buy an extra bottle and stash it for a special occasion in some years. It will develop like a god wine- only get better and better by the years.

UPDATED: AUG 5, 2014 50cl bottle from a beershop. Sounded promising on RB and indeed, what a unique impy. Pours a stunning foamhead, fluffy duffy. Smoke smell with touches of licorice, roasted malt, fermented honey and booze. Have to search for the sugar cane rum touch. What I like the most is its distinguishing wood aroma that pulls through in the taste. Age this one minimum 6 months though.. If you can several years, very promising!

Pitch black and brown solid head. Toasty, roasted, balsamic, soy sauce, creamy, pine. Of my this is delicious. Well developed, rich and sweet, burned caramel and soaked raisins. Delicious. Yes, it’s sweet, but hell I don’t mind! (50cl bottle from De Hopduvel)

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with stable tan head. Clear aroma of malt, coffee, a touch of liquorice and, above all, alcohol. Bitter and roasty flavour, with touches of dark chocolate, rum and coffee. Sweetish notes, especially towards the rather roasty finish. A nice one.

Bottle in a trade thanks to cunningham! Shared the bottle. Poured Black with a Nice mocha head. Roasted malts, caramel, bitter coffee, sweet chocolate, milk chocolate, slight metallic, red fruits, vanilla, ash, spiced flavour of the rum. The rum part really warms this beer up a little.
