Drunk to celebrate my rating number 22,800. Bottled. A pitch black beer with a huge very dark brown head. The aroma has notes of rhum, chocolate, roasted malt, alcohol, caramel, and wood. The flavor very sweet with notes of alcohol, roasted malt, burnt wood, caramel, rhum, and some chocolate, leading to a dry woody, roasted, and alcoholic finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown to black with a lacing chocolate brown head. Aroma is roasted malt and rum raisin flavoured. Smooth and inviting. Flavour is roasted malt and fruity with a raisin mild flavour and a mild rum note afterwards. Lingering acidic touch into the finish. Lasting smooth fruity rum feel with no alcohol burn abait the Abv.

Quite full-bodied with burned, ashy malt and a lightly whiff of rum. Dry and burned finish. Sweet but nice. The alcohol is surprisingly well hidden. 310808

Bottled@EBF2008. Black opaque colour, small head. Aroma is smoke, roasted malts, caramel, alcohol and some mild wooden and earthy tones. Flavour is roasted malts, some caramel as well as mild alcohol, chocolate and coffee. A pleasant and nicely balanced stout.

Bottled at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. Black as night, no head. Aroma of rum and tar. Coffee in syrup with a bit of caramel. Medium-full bodied with rounded moutfheel. Not really homogenous, it feels like it’s blown up and the chcolate and tar is separated by a rift of soda.

Cask @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty fruity dark fruit and chocoalte aroma with hints of rum. Sweetish roasted malty chocolate and dark fruit flavor with weak hints of licorice and hints of rum. Has a roasted malty chocolate and rum finish.

Draught at Ølbaren, Copenhagen Black color. Aroma of roasted malts, ashes, cookies, dust, light smoke. Strong body, sweet chocolate and ashes flavor; powerful, but low biterness, missing a bite. Very pleasant and good, but it could aspire to be better.
