COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle. Aroma of wheat malt and wood. Very dark brown colour with small beige head. Wheat malt flavour with a bit of liquorice and a surprisingly dry finish - a bit woodlike.

Skinnyviking (6936) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 13, 2011
Bottle. Low and quickly disappearing white fluffy head. Very dark brown, almost black, body. Relatively sweet roasted wheat aroma with notes of coffee. Flavor of roasted malt coffee choccolate, pretty sweet with little hops bitterness and a bit of metal as well. Low carbonation. Short aftertaste.

Neeskens (328) - SWEDEN - MAR 11, 2011
Bottle. Dark browb with a medium light brown head. Chocolate meets fruity slightly acidic weizen banana notes in the medium rich nose. The aroma have more power and contain chocolate upfront, quite a lot of acidity and banana notes before a low bitterness high smokiness ending. The mouthfeel is thin and it got more weizen style in the nose than in the mouth.

Maria (10136) - Thisted, DENMARK - FEB 27, 2011
It’s dark-brown with a small head, and the aroma has notes of caramel, light banana and spicy yeast. The flavour has sweetness, but unfortunately also a light sourness, and it has notes of caramel, light licorice, yeast, and a little anise in the slightly dry finish.

Draught at Monks Porterhouse, Stockholm. Pours out in a cloudy reddish brown colour with a fluffy white head. Dryish, almost papery aroma of grass, mint and sourish dark malts. Medium-bodied with notes of roasted malts and white pepper. Medium-bitter finish of mild cloves, wet grass and burnt caramel. Odd Dunkelweiss!

On tap @ Monks. Strange sour maltiness dominates this one. Notes of old coffee.
