This dark brown beer has plenty of coffee in both aroma and taste. It’s a bit sweet and very smooth.

On tap @ Henrik. This is a deep dark brown one with a small non-sidesticking light brown top. Not to extreme on the aroma. some sweet light roasted aromas with traces of chocolate and dark coffee. Nice non-extreme. it has a nice small-prickling carbonation level and a soft oily mouth feel. Mild rotated flavours, well not all that mild considering this is a brown ale and not a stout. The cocoa is shining through with traces of vanilla. Quite impressive for a relatively low abv beer. Some ripe fruits in the finish that’s somewhat mouth drying. Quite a nice brown ale. 22.02.2013

Bottle 0.5l at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Colour is reddish brown with large reddish white head. Aromas and flavours: Berries, sourness, fruits and malts. Quite weird.

Deep brown coloured beer with a medium white head. Aroma is roasted malt and caramel. Flavor with dark roasted malt and caramel along with bread and licorice notes. Medium palate, little boring finish.

Bottle. Pours a deep hazy red, almost black. Medium sized tan head. Aroma is lightly roasted. Taste is lightly roasted with notes of fruit, chocolate and caramel. Long malty aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel. Not bad.

Botella de 500ml. Copa Globo de Hornbeer. Saboreada en sep´12. Brota con color marrón muy oscuro y capa bronceada. La espuma es cremosa, persistente que deja copos en las paredes. Las maltas tostadas dominan a los lúpulos tanto en aromas como sabores. El cuerpo es ligero-medio y la carbonatación moderada. El paladar de denso malteado se redondea con gentil amargor. Refrescante, sabrosa y de muy fácil asimilación. Muy aconsejable al atardecer en días veraniegos. 500ml bottle. Hornbeer Snifter glass. Enjoyed on sep´12. Pous very dark brown in color. Tan head is creamy, lasting & spotty. Toasted malts both in flavors & aromas overwhelmed hops. Light to medium body. Moderate carbonation. Dense malty mouthfeel rounded by gentle bitterness. Refreshing, flavorful & easy drinkable beer. Suggested early in the evening on summer days.

080213. Tap at Nordic Tampere. Pours black with a nice head. Aroma nuts, burnt malts. Coffee. Dry palate. Medium palate. Not Bad.

Sample from tap, FØL 2013. Dark brown colour with a small, tanned head. Roasted aroma with dark, roasted caramel malt, coffee, chocolate. A yeasty touch. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture. Finishes sweet with rich caramel malts, liquorice and a yeasty, fruity note. Interesting to add the yeasts to an otherwise rather generic styled beer.

Bottle. Opaque dark brown liquid with small to medium light tan head. Aroma of dark fruit, chocolate, fruity yeast esters, light roastedness and green apples. Taste is light sweet and light to medium bitter with notes of dark fruit, bread and light green apples. Medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. Not clean and a bit weird.

Pours a dark brown colour with a white head on the edges. Aroma of roasted malts, cold coffee and grass. Flavour of roasted malts, cold coffee, chocolate, grassy bitterness and some salty notes. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a sharp, bitter and chocolatey finish. Decent.
