UPDATED: FEB 25, 2015 Bottle. Pours clear amber average small beige head. Aroma is really sweet, candied sugar, esteres, bit of yeast yeast, slight toast and cardboard. Taste is sweet, candied sugar, quite typical sweet belgian inspired from Hornbeer... The last couple i had, have all had this candied sugar. Some caramel and weird finish. Medium body and low to medium carbonation. Well hidden alcohol by the sugary sweetness until it warms. One dimensional.

Dark brown body with a thin off-white foamy/creamy head. Well balanced malty/hoppy aroma with cinnamon and brown sugar hints. Taste hides the alcohol pretty well.Caramel and vineous Ends with a decent bittersweet finish.

The aroma is of fruit and yeast. The taste is quite so thin I think. Easy fruit and berry taste. Good bitterness in the aftertaste that fills the upper part of the mouth to a weak moment. Mediocre beer. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Keg at CBC Clerko, 02/01/15. Clear golden amber with moderate light beige spotting and edgework. Nose is toffee, yeast esters, candied fruit peel, bitter dark fruit notes, light tobacco notes. Taste comprises prunes, caramel, fruit rinds, earthy strokes, nutty. Medium + body, fine carbonation, stewed fruit and bitter strokes in the close. Decent enough Belgo affair.

Bottle at home. Two years old. Has a slightly hazy , brownish amber color and is topped with a solid and creamy, ivory colored foam head. The beer has a wonderful aroma with touches of dried fruit, chocolate, leather, British fudge, bread and some alcohol. The flavor follows up impressively with additional notes of more prunes , leather and licorice. In the mouth the beer is soft and rich, and has a nice bitterness in the aftertaste. Maybe a bit more bitter than the classics from Belgium.
