COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Sample from tap, FØL 2013. Clear, deep golden colour with an off-white head. Rather sweet aroma for an IPA: Rich caramel malts, pines, citrus fruits, floral notes. Taste is sweet. Good body, creamy texture, suitable carbonation. Finishes bitter with caramel malts, citrus and floral hops. Too sweet for me as an IPA, otherwise a rich and well made beer.

Bottle. A hazy, orange to amber colored beer topped by a small but dense, light beige head. Peaches, orange peel, pine cones and sugary malts in the aroma. Quite pleasant. A bit sweet on the palate, but with sufficient amounts of hops to avoid it from being cloying. Pine cones and some orange peel. Full body, soft carbonation. Nice bitterness in the end. Overall, this one’s too sweet, but it’s quite nice anyway. 130119
