On tap. Hazy amber golden with an off-white head leaving some lacework. The nose has some fresh citrusy hops but unfortunately also quite some diacetyl. Medium body, sweet fruit, good citrusy hops leaving a fairly distinct bitterness. If not for the buttery nose this would’ve been a fairly decent - albeit sweet - IPA. 091110

UPDATED: DEC 22, 2010 Bottle, 6.5%. Nicely caramelly hop aroma. Cloudy red colour. Small off-white head. The flavour has a bit of the caramelly hop note from the aroma, but also a bit of vegetable. Distinct bitterness, nice and clean. The mouthfeel is a little thin, but the flavour is good.

Bottle. An enormous, dense, light beige head sits on top of a slightly unclear amber body. The head disappeares gradually, into a rocky pile of bubbles. Mostly hoppy nose, with pine cones and resins. Some maltyness, but not much. Nice, but a 7 is awarded under doubt. Quite sweet in the mouth, but with enough bitterness to bring balance. Piney and resiny hops, also in the finish. A quite nice one, although a bit sweetish. 110614
