Tap @ Fairbar. Slightly hazy bronze pour with a firm white head. Lots of tropical fruits, mango, grapefruit and some stone fruit. Some pine and resin as well, light caramel sweetness. Pretty solid IPA.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, pours amber, almost clear with nice, stable off-white head. Aroma is herbal, with some resin notes and some malt. Tastes like imperial ipa. Quite high maly sweetness is balanced by medium bitterness. Full body, bit thick feel, Short bitter finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rating #945, flaske fra Voldby. Helt igennem lækker IPA med masser af blomster og malt i både duft og smag. Ret tyk. God.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at home. 2012 edition bbf 2015-01. Pours a massive thick and foamy head with lots of lacing. Aroma is fudge, caramel and fruitiness. Peach, mango, pine apple. But as expected the hops are a bit dull due to the age, they are at pale ale levels rather than ipa. A sharp, and i must say unexpected, grape bitterness hits instatly in the flavor, and stays prominent as long lasting bittering in the finish. Taste is apart from this mostly pine, mango, caramel, bread and some hay. Some paperly oxidation is evident in the aftertaste but not at disturbing levels.

3.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from SuperBest. Pours a dark amber with a white head. Nose is hoppy, full of peach, raspberry and citrus. Taste is quite malty compared to what you'd expect from the nose. Good carbonation and sweetness. Altogether a great Easter brew.
- with thirst, Niklas

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from BarleyWine, CPH - slightly fuzzy amber pour with medium whiteish head. Aroma and taste is fresh hoppy citrus notes, mandarin, peach, pine and medium malty, slight caramel, refreshing and pretty easy drinking for the abv, definitely the best "Påske" brew so far this year for me. Really liked this.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Systembolaget. Hazy brown body, small tanned head. Aroma of caramel, vanilla, tropical fruit and grass. Taste of caramel malt, grapefruit, hay. Good bitterness. hoppy grapefruit ending. Naming a beer "hoppy something" raise hop expectations, and while the beer is quite hoppy, it’s really not anything special amongst other hoppy non-hoppy-named beers from Hornbeer in my opinion.

(4/2012) old rating, remember a very rawly fresh hopped brew.
