3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. A lightly unclear one, amber in color and topped by a big, off-white head. The aroma is piney and resiny, with citrus peel and some maltyness. Caramel hints. The flavor is quite bitter, with resins, pine cones and grapefruit. Caramel maltyness in the background. Medium body, nice carbonation. Bitter finish with grapefruit peel and pine cones. A straightforward and pleasant IPA, not world class, but drinks nice. 130119
