UPDATED: MAR 3, 2012 (Bottle) Pours light hazy orange red with a big creamy, off-white head. The aroma holds sweaty grapefruit and pine up front with clear tones of black currant leaves, frozen strawberries, berry jam, linseed oiled wood, white flowers, ripe apple, pears and light tropical fruits. Perfect toasted and light hone-like malt backbone. Touch of caramel. Fantastic hop nose. The flavour is light sweet, medium to heavily bitter and light acidic with notes of citrus, pine, bitter herbs, flowers, fruits, berries, toast, white bread and a touch of caramel. The mouthfeel is clean, light sticky, smooth and round with a light to medium carbonation. Lingering and refreshing spicy citric afterbitterness. Medium bodied.

Bottle 500 ml. I really like a good head of foam on my beer and this one has a really good one. Plenty of hop, some really nice touch of truits/berrys - this sweetness is needed since the bitternes is very high! I like it!

Countbeer (5996) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - APR 9, 2012
Bottle: Thanks to VsXsV: Medium to big vast creamy (off white) head on top of a hazy amber colored beer. Smell exotic fruit, mango, melon, peach, creamy butter and hops. Taste nice hoppy fruits, pine, peach, light citrus, hops, medium to fuller bitterness, earthy notes, creamy, light light malt tones, but overall lots of hop and hopfruits, though not to dominating. Hoppy fruity herby aftertaste. Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, good medium to fuller body and a creamy texture. Funny label, tasty beer.

01-MAR-2013, bottle as Påskeøl @home, from Fish & Beer. Hazy dark golden with off-white head. Hoppy aroma with grape fruit, pine, exotic fruits, touch of cats piss - nelson sauvin? Taste the same but also a little herbal note and some fresh apples. Very bitter with medium carbonation and body. Long fruity and hoppy finish. Very fine IPA.

Årets hidtil bedste påskeøl. Dejlig frisk IPA, med god smag af humle. Kan anbefales.

Bottle from Systembolaget, Sickla. Big light brown head that stays a long time. Clear red-brown color. Big plesent hop aroma from american hops. Hoppy taste with small caramell maltiness and medium bitterness. Well balanced. A very nice balaced IPA.

Bottle. Pours a very dark, translucent, brownish orange with a large, thick, off-white head. Aroma straight off the bottle is strongly of hops; pine and grapefruit, somewhat vegetably strong as well. From the pint it is still strongly hoppy, naturally: Pine and grapefruit, somewhat pithy, some caramel. Taste begins piney and pithy, some nuts, strongly caramel in the finish. Aftertaste is pithy and piney, grapefruity. Palate is stingy and carbonated. Very nice this one though with the few proper IPAs available in bottle here in Finland, I might just be happy with this because of the lack of selection. On a final note, could do with a bit more fruitiness and/or refreshingness in the flavor: Had it with a green salad that made it just that much better.
