COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Til humlevennerne.

500ml bottle (Bruuveri, Helsinki)
Juicy fruity hops, sweet pineapple and peach, liquor from the tins too. Very full palate, smooth sweet, and verging on sticky, but the carbonation ccuts through that. Nettly bitter bite, but a luxurious blanket of sugars smothers that quickly. Drinkability remarkably high, the "drink more" lobe is being tickled in my brain with every sip. I have to say that 500ml is perhaps too big a bottle, there’s no possible way a single person would want to drink a whole bottle, unless he was on a downward drunken spiral. Of course, those who tick from danish thimbles will never encounter this dilemma. And it is a dilemma - I do want to drink more, it’s very tasty, very drinkable, but I also want to get home at the end of the evening.

More of a strong ale. Citrus orange flavour is there, but not very assertive as I anticipate for an in-style DIPA.Private Quebec buying club.

Bottle: Poured a deep amber color ale with a relatively large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of caramel malt with medium citrusy hops nose. Taste is also a mix between some caramel malt with light citrus hoppy notes. Body is quite full with good carbonation with some solid bitter notes. Good but not really breaking any barriers. I should stick to local IPA which are as good but not as pricey.

Keg at Craft Beer Co SW4- 3 January 2014. Dark orange with little or no head. Aroma is massively piney, sticky sweet, moderately boozey. Flavour is sweet, slightly toffee, orange, marmalade. An excellent version of a style I often find overbearing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
