Danish: Til humlevennerne.

Copenhagen Beer Festival. Cloudy brown beer, short lived head. Rich sweetish hops but again with this brewery the palate is very dry.

Extremely malty double IPA. Aroma: Leather, iron, spice (nutmeg, fruitcake). Chewy palate with ample remaining carbonation. Quite barleywineish. Very cloudy. I liked it. Thanks Henrik!

Draught at Café 3 små rum, Göteborg, Sweden. Murky copper red, medium beige head. Citric, perfumy, and piney hops on a caramelly malt base. A slight touch of liquorice or aniseed. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Well balanced with a long bitter finish.

Bottle. Darker brown color that’s slightly muddy/murky with an eggshell head. Nice musty and dank hoppiness in the aroma, little resiny and grapefruit. Not as hard-hitting in the flavor but a fair amount of bitterness with resin and grapefruit still coming in over a bigger malt backing that balances things out too evenly. Medium body with softer carbonation.

Hazy orange with an off-white head. Aroma is malty, fruity and very hoppy - grapefruit, pine and peach. Flavor is rather sweet and extremely bitter. Finish is dry, very bitter and warming alcohol. Has enough sweetness to balance the massive bitterness. 020210
