Thanks to thewolf. Nice hazy deep amber with a medium bit short lasting white head. Chocolate, hoppy aroma with a good toasty maltiness. Flavour has some smoke with caramel and well toasted malt along with some pleasant chocolate. thewolf (3491), Kolding, Denmark Aug 10, 2008 Bottle, bought @ Kolding Vinhandel.
Pours a light redish brown with a good, creamy, white head. Fair duration. Aroma has some cocoa, chocolate, lightly vinious and caramel. Medium carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour has a little yeasty cardboard at first, but lots of good notes too. Chocolate especially, some hoppy dryness and a slight smoky ede. A good brew, but there is not much complexity in here. Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 19, 2008 (Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy warm amber golden with an off-white head. Sweetish aroma of roasted malt and Danish rye bread. Quite full-bodied with sweetish roasted malt, Danish rye bread and an interesting and piquant light smoke note. Vague ashy edge. Dry but not overly bitter finish. Solid craftmanship. 120708 fonefan (4328), Ulfborg, Denmark Jul 3, 2008 Draught @ Ølfestival Aarhus 2008. Unclear medium red amber color with a small, virtually none appearance, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, fruity, smoke notes. Flavor is moderate sweet, light light acidic, (apple acidic) and moderate bitter (malt bitternes) with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft.
