Shared bottle at local tasting. Pours clear amber with a small off-white head. Nice aroma of exotic hops. Taste is light bitter, pine and grapefruits, crisp and fresh hops with a dry end. Smooth and silky mouthfeel.

500 ml bottle, kindly shared by abemorsten. ABV is 6%. Brown colour, moderate off-white head. Pleasant aroma of butterscotch, toffee and caramel - less noticeable hops. The flavour is well balanced between the malts and hops, medium bitter finsh.

Flaske hos Ole Anders mai-13: uklar brunfarge med nokså beskjedent gardinskum. Aroma har en toffeeaktig sødme. Mildt humlet. Smaksrikdom og balanse som gjør at jeg gjerne skulle hatt en av denne til julemaden.

Bottle at the Chriso snow tasting. thanks to HenrikO. Piny resin sryupy aroma, Hazy orange with a white head. Tropical hop fruit. Soft carbonation. some crystal malt medium sweet.

Appearance: Cloudy brownish amber color with a off white head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Caramel malty, fruity and a bit grape hoppy.
Palate: Medium body. Slightly sweet and a fine bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Unusual dominant caramel malty taste for an IPA. Mixed with a nice fruity and hoppy flavor.
Overall impression: At last there is some tasty nice new Christmas beer coming up. Really tired of the usual dunkler bock. Looking forward to next Christmas and another Julehumle!

Hazed mid amber with a thin bubbly off white head that clears to the edge.
Nose is caramel malts, hops, pine, citrus fruits, grapefruit.
Taste comprises orange, bitter grapefruit, citurs, hops, a little pine.
Medium bodied with soft carbonation, some bitterness in the dry finish.
Decent IPA.

500 ml bottle. Slightly hazy coppery orange colour, thick and creamy off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, citrus, pine and sweet tropical fruits. The flavour is malty, a little on the dry side, with grapefruit, pine and a long bitter herbal hoppy finish.

Bottle at ChrisO Snow Tasting, thanks to HenrikO. It pours hazy deep orange-amber with a thick medium white head. The nose is orange peel, tangerine, mango, pithy, hay and light caramel. The taste is orange, mango, tangerine, straw, grass, caramel and light metal with a dry, citric finish. Medium body and high carbonation. Pretty tasty indeed.

31.12.12. Bottle. Aroma is a strong American hops; very nice. Tastes good, a fruity and bitter combo. Probably not the best winter beer, but I’m a fan of these kinds of IPAs.

Bottle at home. Hazy reddish dark brown color. Fantastic fruity hoppy aroma. Hoppy taste, fruits, some sweetness. Expected stronger hops but it’s good anyway.
