Amber color, cloudy. Some sour aromas, fruit and berries. Taste is... interesting to say the least. Cranberries for sure. Sour but not overwhelming. Probably not considered balanced but I can’t help myself, I like it. Dry, tart finish.

Sample from bottle @ Sur & Bitter, Sandnes. Pours hazy golden, with a rocky head. Aroma is light sour notes of lactic acid and red berries, as well as some wood, nuts and some mineraly notes of earth. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is lactic acid and tart berries, as well as musty fruity notes, fruit peel and wooden barrels.

500 ml bottle. Big white head after pouring. Fast dissaping, style-whise. Unriped fruit aromas. Very good balanche In depth and taste. Oak, bitternes, cranberry dominating. Very destingt aftertaste and mouthfeel like cranberry. A very good sour beer, that keeps its prommises ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

It is a heavily foaming beer with renewable solid foam. Lovely aroma of malt, hops and soft fruit. Slightly malty sweet fruit flavors in the beginning, but soon appears a tart fruity flavor which is a fine contrast to the lightly hoppy finish. Fine notes of cranberry be found throughout the flavor and along with a tang of oak (from aging in oak barrels) and little smoke is an excellent beer which is a different and exciting alternative to red wine.

500ml bottle @ Haket. Aroma of sour red berries. Pretty dry and sour. A bit like a good cider.

9/9/11/11/8/11

Bottle. No oak detected I’m afraid. Hmm... strawberries, apricot seeds, cranberries, fruit acid. Yes, a fruit beer this is indeed. Rather full body with a dry finish. Drinkable, though not really worth it.

Pours hazy copper/amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, cranberries, alcohol, hint of oak and some sourness. Taste is light sweet, light bitter and light sour with a slightly warm, sour fruity, woody and kind of dry finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Cranberry ale with off-white head and misty bronze colour. Complex aroma of indeed fresh cranberries, candi syrup, oak, venison, dried cep, peat, lemon peel... Very unusual and idiosyncratic taste profile, sourish with a mellow, honeyish malt sweetness in the background and a weird play of sweet, sour and bitter with meaty and mushroom-like accents, woody, dry sourish finish. Complex, authentic and very interesting.
