2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
50 cl bottle from Bieropholie, cool, tulip. Murky mahogany with a small tan head. Smoke, tangy fruitiness, some oak, dark dried fruits, brown sugar, toffee notes, a touch spicy, nice. Medium + body, soft effervescence. Smoke, fruits, brown sugar, light wood notes, fairly tangy, not great; off dry with gentle bitterness and a malty, tangy fruit finish. Not sure if it is infected or like this on purpose.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A hazed reddish brown with a thick creamy brown head. In aroma, another infected beer with grassy caramel, herbs, no fruits. In mouth, a sweet cloying malt with cranberries, peaty notes, sourish, so-so.

Pours red color with a small off-white head. Aroma of fruits, juicy berries and grass. Flavor of hops, juice, hay and some berries and fruits. Weird, not as sweet as I expected though.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
500ml bottle. Pours out a hazy burnt orange shade with tonnes of head. Aroma is lightly smokey and particularly malty, with cranberry only playing a supporting role. At first this tastes quite pleasant, with the cranberry sharpness nicely smoothed out by the oak, but it became increasingly difficult to drink. The oak worked quite well but cranberries aren’t really my favourite fruit, so I probably shouldn’t have picked this up.

Cloudy Indian Red beer with a thick and full tan head. Softish dry palate. Smoky malt, which is a surprise! Creamy malt too. Lots of cranberry, slightly sour and then oaky malt (no vanilla though). Finishes with more cranberry, slightly dry. Unusual!

[Thanks to fonefan]. Hazy brown colour with a frothy tan head with an average duration. Aroma has sourness and vinegar traces with slightly hints of wood and fruits. Flavour is sour, with traces of red fruits where cramberryes are present. The final is slightly bittery. Carbonation is medium. Body is medium.

Bottle at home, from my Maudite glass. Thanks Phil! I LOVE controversial beers, and a raspberry, oak-aged, smoked beer strikes me as being reasonably controversial. Love it! Pours murky raspberry-bronze, with a very thick off-white head, with rather exceptional lacing. Nose is raspberry and smoke, some yeast, generic fruit, and peat also, but very much in the fruit-smoke realm. Flavours are bacony-smoke, with some raspberry. This kinda works, like when your blueberry syrup spills off your pancakes and onto your bacon at breakfast. At first you’re all "Fuck! I don’t want Fruit Bacon!" but then the bacon is sitting there in the oil, and the fruit and you’re thinking "it would be a shame to waste bacon". And then you finish your toast, and you’re left there watching your date/girlfriend/wife pick at her eggs, still kinda hungry, and you decide "Fuck it! Fruit bacon it is!" and this is that moment, distilled down into a beer. This is bacon, peat, and raspberry syrup, Together at Last!!! this is an unholy abomination of a beer. I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!!!!!
