Jun 15, 2008 Bottled. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of roasted malt and alcohol that stings in the nose. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of roasted malt as well as soy sauce, and dark desert chocolate, leading to a dry bitter finish.

May 24, 2008 Århus2008. From tap. Pours black with a huge and dense tan head. Roasted malt and coffee aroma. Light roasted to mild smoked note. Light smooth finish with a lingering roasted finish. I’m really looking forward to more beers and the first 10 on a revisit on bottle. Great debut and shocking that some decided to turn their backs on trying this due to political arrogance.

Absolute black color, thin creamy head. Glue-ish stout aroma. It has a medium body, with a good mix of caramel, chocolate and roasted malt, some residual sweetness; the late flavor has a light harshness too. Not much Russian, but quite good anyway.

May 25, 2008 Updated: May 29, 2008Draught at ÅBF08. Slightly smokey aroma. Black colour, small brown head. Very nice flavour, creamy, sweet and roasted. Good freshly ground coffee aftertaste. Some smoke. Very nice.
