70 pct kakao. Men Hornbeer Russian Imperial Stout går altså også fint alene!

@ Havregatan. Flaska inköpt i Helsingör. Kaffe, choklad, lakrits, rostade och smårökiga toner, trä, ganska lätt kolsyrad, bra beska, lång eftersmak. Skulle kunnat vara något kraftigare och fylligare.

Deep black pour with huge light brown rocky head that stays so long I am getting restless.. Aroma is strong enough to come through anyway. Sweet and roasted with dark fruits, raisins, dark chocolate, coffee. Good, inviting aroma. Full feel, soft and round but also roasted, full body, soft carbonation, alcohol is present but not disturbing, long sweet and roasted finish. Loved the palate of this, like tasty velvet, nice flavors. Hornbeer seems to know how to make imperials now that I tasted 2 in a row and both were excellent.

Black of color with a brown head. An aroma of liqurice, dark chocolate, roasted malt and weak prunes. A flavor of roasted malt, coffee, prunes, dark chocolate, weak smoke and weak sweets.

Black body, medium brown head of some longevity, ok lacing. The aroma is very strong and roasted, with dark caramel, coffee and chocolate, and ash, rope and hints of smoke in the back. Also some fruity traces. Lovely! The taste is moderate sweet and heavy bitter. The long-lasting finish is rather alcoholic. Strong flavours of very dark roasted malt, this tastes burnt, with dark roasted coffee and ash. Less strong notes of chocolate, sweet fruits, dark berries and smoke. The body is full, the texture is oily, the carbonation is soft. The demanding and complex flavours, the obvious alcohol and the heavy bitterness make this a slow sipper. A lovely brew, but today it was almost a bit too much. This is a beer you have when you crave something violent and dark.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. Dark brown pour with a tan head. The aroma has a lot of charred malt notes as well as some light smoke and chocolate. The flavor is similar with charred malt and smoke coming through up front. Smells like a campfire. There are also some chocolate notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Bottle 50cl from Henrik thanks. A black beer with medium brown head. Nose is very nice on dark malt, dark chocolate and light coffee. Aroma is on dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, light smoked notes, light vinous touch, creamy, extremely well done and easy drinkable, a very nice imperial stout.

Nästan helt svart öl med ljusbrunt skum. Doft av rostat kaffe och en del choklad. I smaken tillkommer lite lakrits och läder. Kroppen hade kunnat vara lite kraftigare med tanke på stilen och alkoholhalten.

Sample from keg. Black with big beige head. Not a great deal in the smell. Taste is very smokey with a bit of an astringent finish. Body is a bit thin for the style. Nice, but doesn’t stand out massively.
