Men døm selv.

Several times on tap and bottle. Pours a pitch black thick fluid with a large tan head. Great complex taste of roasted coffee, chocolate, licorice and oak. Alcohol is well hidden. Really good Imperial Stout.

Pours black with high brown frothy head Aromas of coffee, dark malts, smoke, "medwurst", tropical fruits Nice taste of coffee, dark chocolate. Fullbodied, rich, medium to high bitterness. Very nice Imperial Stout.

En kraftfull stout. Smak och doft av choklad, kaffe, honung, själv har jag svårt att urskilja valnöten. Mycket humle och en betydande beska som förtstör helhetsintrycket. Gott men aningen för beskt.

Thick, almost black body. Hardly any foam. Rich, bitter and roasty taste. Aroma of roasted coffee beans, dark chocolate, licorice and dark caramel. Roasty finish with a nice coffee-like aftertaste. Bitter mouthfeel troughout. Much enjoyed!

I’m not anything further impressed with this beer. It tastes best coffee and dark chocolate. Since I do not drink coffee and do not eat dark chocolate becomes this beer difficult for me. The scent is thin. The flavor is intense, almost like a punch in the stomach. The aftertaste is never ending. Sadly for me, it’s not a good taste.

Opaque black beer, tidy tan head. Odd fruity and medicinal nose. Palate is smooth, a little soft and semi dry. Taste follows the nose - medicinal fruit! Smooth smoky dark malt. Mild coffee and aniseed before the dry finish. The fruit gets a little sweeter before the finish. Different!

Pours the blackest of black, with a dark beige head. Aroma is great, with plenty of dark chocolate and roasted coffee hitting your nose. Rich and creamy mouthfeel, and a flavour of roasted malts, coffee and licorice. There is a hint of oak present, and a superb hoppy, bitter finish. Alcohol well hidden in this one. Lovely imperial stout.

Bottle, 50 cl - Black opaque beer with a fast disappearing brown head. Aroma is roasty malty with notes of oak, licorice, coffee and dark chocolate. Flavor is malty with notes of oak, licorice and coffee. A bit too sweet and unbalanced but still a great beer.

Bottle at home. The colour is pitch black with a light brown medium head. Complex and fantastic aroma of roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate. A lot more of the same in a very nice flavour with more roast and oak. Wonderful flavour that lasts very long in the mouth. Has a rich and oily mouthfeel, and a light bitterness. A fantastic, powerful and well-balanced ale.
