COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Men døm selv.

Opaque black beer, tidy tan head. Odd fruity and medicinal nose. Palate is smooth, a little soft and semi dry. Taste follows the nose - medicinal fruit! Smooth smoky dark malt. Mild coffee and aniseed before the dry finish. The fruit gets a little sweeter before the finish. Different!

Pours the blackest of black, with a dark beige head. Aroma is great, with plenty of dark chocolate and roasted coffee hitting your nose. Rich and creamy mouthfeel, and a flavour of roasted malts, coffee and licorice. There is a hint of oak present, and a superb hoppy, bitter finish. Alcohol well hidden in this one. Lovely imperial stout.

Bottle, 50 cl - Black opaque beer with a fast disappearing brown head. Aroma is roasty malty with notes of oak, licorice, coffee and dark chocolate. Flavor is malty with notes of oak, licorice and coffee. A bit too sweet and unbalanced but still a great beer.

Bottle at home. The colour is pitch black with a light brown medium head. Complex and fantastic aroma of roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate. A lot more of the same in a very nice flavour with more roast and oak. Wonderful flavour that lasts very long in the mouth. Has a rich and oily mouthfeel, and a light bitterness. A fantastic, powerful and well-balanced ale.

Upea tuotos.

500mL bottle, sent from Glouglouburp (thanks Dany), pours jet black with a medium brown head. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate, and a noticeable hop presence - pretty standard impie stout notes. Flavour brings out loads of chocolate upfront, followed by roasted malt and a very nice hop presence. This a chocolatey one, though counterbalanced with the roast and hoppy notes. Very smooth and highly drinkable - no trace of the 11% ABV. Though it’s nothing revolutionary, this is a fantastic impie.

Ar: sweet, dark and milk chocolate, notes of honey, thick roastiness That is peeping out Behind the rich sweet forefront of the malts, licorice and milky coffee, Ap: thick black colour and a medium creamy Brown head. T: first Comes a short Burst of chocolate, which is quickly overpowered by heavu roastiness, burnt espresso, ash, smoke, after this Comes a soft note of vanilla, honey, fruity hops make a subtle appearance with a floral bouqet of notes, ending in a lingering bitterness and a warming finish. Extremely complex and layered in a way you very seldon find in an imp, or in any beer, this is extremely refined. P: small Lively bubbles, thick mouthfeel. O: this is very good, extremely refined, very sophisticated beer.

Flaske 0,5l fra Vinmonopolet, Tromsø Sentrum. Drukket hjemme 24 Nov 12. Kullsort. 0 kullsyre. Glir lett nedover i halsen. Rik smak. Mere lakris. Litt sjokolade. Innholdsrikt.

Completly black with a tan head. Aroma are really coffee-oriented, also some chocolate and dried fruits. The flavour strong malty roastyness, together with fruitiness, chocolate and some oak. Sour finish, got quite some bitterness for a stout, which I really like. Texture are not as heavy asbi’d though, but that’s okey. Overall this is a really good beer, but it miss the wow factor to take all the way to the top. It’s hard to name what that is..
