Men døm selv.
Brygget med kaffe malt, chocolate malt, black malt og honning, tørhumlet og lagret med egetræ og valnød.

Aroma is sort of sweet, but roasty and coffee as well. Taste is mostly sweet, but the finish is very long lasting and bitter. Texture is extremely creamy. Almost entirely black, head is beautiful brown. (Tap)

Bottle - 500ml. Pours an opaque black body with low carbonation and a lasting brown creamy head. Strong, complex malty/hoppy aroma with chocolate, coffeeish, and some vanilla hints. Alcohol is very well hidden. Its well balanced taste carries roasty and brown sugar notes. Ends with a long, warming bitter/roasty finish. Awesome!

Palme (3606) - Bergen, NORWAY - OCT 17, 2011
Tap @ Schoukjelleren, Oslo. Pours a pitch black body with a nice creamy chocolate head. Aroma is sweet with lots of chocolate-milk references, roasted malts, sweet caramel and perhaps even some dark fruity tones. Quite nice. Average carbonation and the mouthfeel it thick, rich and kinda creamy. Strong roasted flavors with notes of both vanilla and chocolate. Continues light fruity with some dry coffee-like tones and more milk-shake. Must admit that I quite liked this one.

OleR (4802) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 19, 2011
From tap @Olympen, Oslo. Dense ruddy brown head. Opaque black body. Nutty, light roasted and mineralic aroma with subtle barrel notes. Taste is heavily roasted dark malts. Tarry, husky and grainy with nuances of salmiac licorice. Juicy texture. Full. Salty finish. Heavy stuff, not for the faint-hearted.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aromas of roasted malt with light lactose notes are interesting. Taste is a mix between some dry roasted malt notes with some light black chocolate and some subtle lactose notes. Body is full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. I am starting to find that the beers form this brewery are lacking a little bit of character to make them truly interesting and wanting to drink them on a regular basis.

(Rating #3943)

Countbeer (4907) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - NOV 23, 2011
Bottle: Yeah, a delicious medium to smaller very vast brown head on top of an oily black beer. This looks promising! Smell is a nice and pretty gentle mix of soft liquorice, kind dark chocolate and dark/light roasted cacao, some light coffee, and even some hops, all very well mixed that it is kind of difficult to smell each on it’s own! Taste subtle earth and tar tones with roasted coffee as well as some roasted malts, some dark bitter chocolate comes through. The bitter dark chocolate, roasted malts and coffee stays for a while to play with your palate. A good dark bitter aftertaste! Low carbo, soft almost silky mouthfeel, full body and creamy light viscous light oily texture. Very well balanced, looks and smells delicious and outspoken in it’s taste and aftertaste.

On Tap at Delirium Hopy loft... A very tasteful beer with a lot of hidden aroma. Pitty that the taste disappear so fast.
