Men døm selv.
Brygget med kaffe malt, chocolate malt, black malt og honning, tørhumlet og lagret med egetræ og valnød.

Bottle at beertasting with Carsten Bertelsen 19 / 6 2013. Pitch black, medium tan head. Aroma, roasted malts, coffee, dry liquorice, some alcohol, chocolate, maybe some hops. Taste, roasted malts, liquorice, coffee, chocolate, bitter. Leaves a dry liquorice aftertaste. Awesome beer, best of the night.

Pours pitch black with smallish tan head. Deep, dark aroma with roasted malts, a hint of vanilla from the oak, herbs and some fragrant flowery and berry flavoured candy notes. Full bodied palate. On the sweet side with some of the honey emerging, balanced beautifully by a big hit of bitterness. The finish is long. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml brown bottle poured into a snifter glass. Appearance is brownish black with a medium sized creamy brown head with good retention. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malts and nutty notes. Flavours of dark chocolate, roasted malts, caramel, coffee, bread and muscovado. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter. Palate is full bodied, thick texture and average carbonation. Overall Hornbeer The Fundamental Blackhorn is delicious, but maybe slightly too sweet.

11.12.2014. Black beer, thick dark brown head. Slightly oily. Strong aroma with plenty of hoppiness, coffee, burnt malts. Taste has coffee, dry cacao, strong long bitter finish. A bit too dry hoppiness.

WYGLĄD: Barwa czarne, nieprzejrzyste. Piana średniej wysokości, drobna
AROMAT: Intensywny zapach. Likier, czekolada, kawa, ziemistość, karmel, zioła, rodzynki, leśne owoce.
SMAK: Z początku owoce leśne, karmel, zioła, po chwili dochodzi kawa i paloność. Na finiszu kawa i alkohol. Goryczka średnia, krótka.
OGÓLNIE: Kapitalny zapach gorzkiej czekolady z owocami leśnymi, a do tego likier ziołowy.

Superbe.

Tap at Craft, 10th March 15. Pours a black beer, reasonable head. The aroma is typical impy, Taste is ash, tar, leather and chocolate. Carbonation is medium, more than most for the style. Liked it

500 mL bottle. Terrible packaging. Pours opaque black with a head of cafe au lait foam. Aromas of dark coffee, bitter chocolate, honey, pine and mint. Moderate sweetness balanced with appropriate bitterness and roasty acidity. Surprisingly mild considering it’s designation and whopping 120 IBU, but not in a bad way. Round rather than angular. Big body and modest carbonation, a hint of alcohol, creamy texture.

It pours opaque black with mahogany highlights; the head is bronze coloured and mousse-like. The aroma has notes of: milk chocolate, charcoal, and sweet mash. The taste is medium sweet that finishes medium bitter with a slight astringency; there are notes of: chocolate, black coffee, dark caramel, and charcoal. The palate is medium-full bodied, oily; lightly carbonated, with a medium finish. Overall, a dessert beer or a capper.

Aroma: roasty, dark chocolate, alcohol, chocolate liqueur. Appearance: deep deep dark, liquid is clear, head is brown, fine and long standig. Taste: full of chocolate, sweet is light with heavy bitter, amazing taste! Palate: body is full , texture is oily, creamy, medium CO2, finish is long and bitter. Genatally beer is great, on start is smooth and goes to be agressive, full of roasty and bitter.
