Genomsvart öl med ett gräddigt brunt skum. Det doftar kafe, rostad malt och lätt vanilj. Samma kommer tillbaka i smaken tillsamman med trä och en nötig beska. En kraftfull och bra Imperial Stout.

50 cl bottle @ home. Pours black with a lot of sediment and a dark tan head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, and fruity hops. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, and hops – with a bitter finish.

Bottle, rated from backlog. Excellent aroma, coffee, burnt notes, liquorice and chocolate. Taste is roasted and sweet with the same flavors.

One of my favorite imperial stouts. A lot of different flavours(chocolate, oak, coffe, nuts, honey) in fantastic balance!

[Thanks to Cunningham]. Bottled. Black colour with a good beige head, nice lacework and perfect lasting. Aroma is roasty, coffee, red fruits. Flavor is toasty and roasty at the beginning, with notes of strong black coffee, vanilla, wooden notes as well. In the final is maintained the black coffee notes with a high percentage of alcohol and with a decent bitterness. Dense and smooth on palate.

Pitch black color, with creamy brown head; there is a lot of yeast inside the neck of the bottle below the cap. The aroma is very nice, with roasted malt, dark chocolate, wood fire bread, light tobacco. Full bodied, yet the mouthfeel is smooth and almost lean; very good flavor of roasted malts in the front, a bit ashy, with rich chocolate too, and roasted nuts; strong bitterness; in the final there is a tickling feeling from the hop resins and the burnt malts, almost peppery.
Aggressive but with silky feeling. Excellent.

500ml bottle from Vinmonopolet. Microscopic reddish-brown head. Black solid body with a hint of red color. Intense aroma of coffee, cocoa and leather. Taste brings a bitter and sour addition.

UPDATED: APR 24, 2013 Black body with little too no foam. Nice bitter all the way. Taste off roast coffee with hint of chocolate, liorice and little bit caramel. Very nice beer. Very nice Imperial Stout
