Bottle, at Ølfestival 2011. It pours an almost clear body, brown in color and with a dense, finger-thick off-white head on top. Notes of smoke as well as caramel and toast on the nose. Some citrusy notes. The flavor is sweet and almost candy’ish, with caramel, bread notes, ham and a decent bitterness. Heavy on the carbonation. Medium body. Roasted, lightly bitter finish with a hint of smoke. Overall, the carbonation takes some joy of drinking this, but it’s a decent beer anyway. 110528

@ Copenhagen festival 2011. The aroma has caramel, some smoke, juniper. Hazy, orange coloured beer with an off-white head. The taste has caramel malts, juniper, some grass.
