COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010. Murky, light brown body with a fine off/white head. Aroma is fruity, mostly citric, some malt and light caramel. Flavor has a fine, mild malt, light caramel, fruity, some peaches, floral and nice bitterness. Very nice, refreshing and mild balanced beer.

Huge, very dense yellowish head over reddish-amber beer. Very hoppy nose with passion fruitaroma, dry hops (UK and USA), dry cookies. Hoppy flavour with caramel, caramelsyrup, but restrained sweetness, until really warmed up. Quite fruity character. Very burning MF, with quite carbonated beer, medium bodied. Bit of raw tobacco in the aftertaste. Hornbeers are quite restrained, certainly compared to the lot of over-the-top Danish microbrews. Unfortunately, one could also state they are a bit on the "fade" side...

A Mes rate. Draught at Den Tatoverede Enke.
Bright orange amber coloured with a very good frothy off white head. Lots of Belgian, yeasty character along with some big spicy notes, almost a ginger feel to it. Those bits I like a lot but there is something that holds it back a little, I’m not sure what. Good Belgian style hops and peat in the finish. Nice, but I can’t help but feel it has more to give.
