Served from tap Hustav Wieds Roskilde. Aroma roasted malts coffee hints of toffie. Taste is sweet on the front, strong bitterness hits me right after, bitter from roasted malts and hops. Well balanced beer. Lots of vitamins, peppety backbone. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap @ Fermentoren. Pours pitch black with a tiny mocca head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chili and a hint of liquorice. The taste is like the aroma. Medium body with a distinct but not overdone aftertaste of chili. I had high hopes for this, as Hornbeer makes some great Imperial Stouts, but although the chili twist is very balanced I feel that this beer is pretty unremarkable and not a patch on their Fundamental Blackhorn. I would happily drink again, though.

Tap @ Fermentoren. Dark color, medium brown head. Aroma of coffee and chocolat, roasted malts. Taste is medium bitter, lots of malt, and a decent chili bite. Chili is on the edge for me, but not over it, so a very nice addition to the RIS.

Light chili, fresh roasted coffee, dark chocolate. Black as hell with large brown head. Strong liquorice, black coffee and tingling chili. Very longlasting taste. Overall too much chili.

Tap @ Fermentoren.
Pours dark red color with a small head. Aroma of roasted malts, mild chili and some fruity notes. Flavour of subtle chili, toasted malts, toffee and caramel. Just a right amount of chili burn on this one. Very nice.

Draught @ Fermentoren, Copenhagen. Pours a black colour with a white head. Aroma of roasted malts, chili and tar. Flavour of roasted malts, chili, coffee and dark chocolate. Medium bodied, oily mouthfeel and a strong, lingering bitter and warming finish. Rather interesting and the chili here isn’t overwhelming.

Draft at Fermentoren. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of massive coffee, dark chocolate, roasted malts and chilli peppers. Flavor is over moderate sweet and moderate bitter with a nice chilli warmth in the finish. Unfortunately some alcohol comes out the more you drink, but the chilli builds and warms without reaching high levels. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Sample at Malmö Öl & Whiskyfestival 2013. Black with a small tan head. Nice aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, vanilla and some chili. A bit more chili in the taste but not too much of it, this beer is balanced. The finish was long and rather bitter. A solid one.
