3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, at Patrick’s. It’s more or less black, topped by a small, dense, light tan head. The aroma is roasted and chocolatey, with a faint touch of chilli and licorice. Some sweetness in the flavor, with licorice, some chili and lots of mocha. It’s lightly chili warming on the palate, full bodied and soft carbonation. Long finish with a good blend of mocha and chili. 130919

Cask is what I wrote down, GBWF 2013, from my massive backlog.
Black with a large, creamy, capuccino head.
Aroma: used coffee grounds/sump, roasted, licorice, green fruity chili.
Taste: used coffee grounds/sump, fruity chili, chocolate, licorice. The finish has a nice chili bite.
Wasn’t too fond of this at the beginning, but it grew on me, and I liked it.
