Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. Black with a white head. The aroma is full of chocolate and roasted malt. The flavor is more of the same at first with some heavily roasted/burnt malt and chocolate notes. There is also a bit of pine and some off flavor I can’t really identify. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

near black pour, nice creamy dark head. intense aroma of vanilla and liquorice, medium roastyness and a whiff of alcohol. Taste is liquorice at first, then into sweet, dark maltyness then bitter chocolate and coffee in the finish. Body is full and with soft carbonation.

Pours black with a medium beige head that dissipates quickly. Smells strongly at first of coffee and dark chocolate, but more of dark fruits later on. Mouthfeel is good, and the flavour is sweet, with roasted malts and lots of coffee bitterness in the finish. I prefer the latter over the sweetness, but still I enjoyed this one.

Pitch black, very meagre head. Liquorice, coffee, caramel. Very sweet initially, mild bitterness arises towards the end. Smokiness dominates, which balances the sweetness.

Local brewery, appear dark black with pleanty of creamy light brown head, which disappear fairly quickly. Aroma dominated by dark fruits plums figs raisins. Lots of roasted malty notes hints of earthy hops. Taste is sweet with plums and raisins, bitter from dark roasted malts, coffee and caramel. Palette could be more developed. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
