COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: De mørke øl passer rigtigt godt til den mørke årstid. Hornbeer Winterporter er ingen undtagelse. Øllet er brygget på paleale-, münchen-, karamel-, chokolade- og ristet malt og der er brugt rigeligt med dansk bihonning. Vi har humlet moderat. Hornbeer Winterporter bør serveres ikke alt for kold – 12-15 grader er passende. Den passer rigtigt godt til desserter, til ostebord og helt alene

Bottle. Pours a jet black body with a huge creamy beige head. Pretty much a perfect look for this kind of beer. Aroma is dark berries, coffee, dark chocolate, hints of alcohol and leather. Taste is licorice, soy, dark chocolate, grassy hops, hay, dark fruits and hints of coffee. Very smooth flavor profile; complex and yet very accessible. Full body, medium carbonation. Lovely rich porter with a fruity touch.

0,5 l shared bottle at Cardinal. An inch thick brown dense head covers a black body. Dark fruits and christmas spices on the nose. Roasted, dark dried fruits in the mouth. Smooth and full bodied. Light alco warmth and a noticable carbonation. Long roasted finish.

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, licorice and floral hops. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long chocolate and caramel finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Pour dark brown, with a large n’ nicely looking foamy light brown head. Aroma of chocolate, slight coffee, slight vanilla, a nice amount of roasted malts. The taste is a little sweet upfront, with a nice bitter and roasted aftertaste. Medium bodied, with quite the fizzy carbonation.

Bottle 50cl from fonefan thanks ! A dark beer with medium brown head, nose is on dark malt with dark chocolate notes. Aroma is on caramel and licorice, light ashes, medium sweet to high, medium creamy, red fruit back ground with light sourness.

Bottle. Black body, small beige head. Aroma is malty, with dark fruits and a light roasty note. Taste is really good, roasted malt, chocolate, licorice and ash. Fullbodied, dry roasted finish, a good beer.

# 3114 ersma: 28 grad hatte es heute, also der optimale zeitpunkt für ein schönes, dunkles weichnachtsbier mit schokomalz und honig. pechschwarz im glas, etwas beiger schaum, der sich aber weitestgehend zurückzieht. der rest sieht aus wie espresso. der geruch ist röstmalzig-süßlich mit aromen von schoko, kirsche und vanille. der antrunk ist ebenfalls röstmalzig-süßlich. schoko und lakritz sowie karamell sind zu vermelden. die mitte wird herber, lakritz und schoko bestimmen aber den geschmack bis in den abgang. der wird karamelliger, hier auch etwas trockenobst und vanille. die flasche mit dem etikett von gunhild rasmussen ist etwas schlichter als gewohnt, aber ansehnlich. fazit: vom honig merkt man weniger. ansonsten ein schönes, rundes porter, dem es aber etwas an tiefgang fehlt. gut trinkbar. 11,11,10,10,11,10 - 10,30 - 12/8/12
